tltorrice Posted August 30, 2008 Share Posted August 30, 2008 Fished out of Manistee this afternoon from 4 - 8 PM. Ran out to the north and set down in 110 fow and landed a nice steelhead on Steelhead cane spoon off of full core. Then procedded to land 6 kings and a coho. We worked our way out to 220 to 240 fow away from all of the other boats. Fish came from 100 foot down on Dipsys set at 290 and full core. We took fish on meat rigs, flasher fly, superman J-plug took two. Our last fish came on a rigger with a meat rig. We will hit it again tomorrow. Priority1 Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 GJ Tom. I had a fish get into my 8 color. I was able to save everything except some braid backer. I may have to respool with new backer.
