Hey you guys down south I am leaving the great white North the second week in april to go to Anna Maria Island Florida for a week .Any info on the fishing around there would be very much appreciated. I was wondering is there sea trout there? And how and where do i catch them or maybe red fish oh heck any fish if I have to be there I want to fish!!! Jimmy

Ok guys, I would like to ask a favor. My sister in law is helping on a benefit for a local 5th grader named Trent Bengel who has a brain tumor. I am trying to put together an item for the silent auction. I am donating a $100 Cabela's gift card and a $50 Gander Mountain gift card. I also bought a Flasher File and would like to fill it with spoons and flies. However, I don't have any unopened flies or spoons to add to it. So I am asking that if you have a couple of new spoons or flies that you would like to donate please send them to me. I don't need a lot, I was thinking about 10-20 spoons and 5-10 flies should be enough. If you had a flasher or something else that you would like to donate that would be great too. Thanks in advance guys, you will be helping a worthy cause.

Mike that really sucks! I called rap 2 springs ago and reported some snaggers at the Rabbit river and the Co's were there in about an hour and ticketed them Sob's But I know now they are spread a lot thinner thats for sure, I hope you can catch them thieves!!!!!!

Hey Jim, i was at west marine in Holland around christmas and they had some auto stop set ups for big jon,s on clearance for like $50 they had quite a few on the shelf,i almost baught some for mine but didn't have the coin at the time . Jimmy

Hi again ,i have two 17" like new used berts tracks with six used pursuit pro series poly pro holders.Some of the holders are missing decals and a couple have some small cracks in the bases. Hey guys I have a heavy duty RAM mount for mounting a fish graph or GPS system to for sale.The mount has some paint chipped off where it had rubbed on my boat but otherwise it is in great shape.Asking $25.00 for it please PM me if you are interested. Its A R-A-M universal mount. The RAM-111, powder coated marine grade aluminum mount, consists of a double socket arm mount, one 2.5" diameter round base with 1.5" rubber ball and flat 6.25" x 2" rectangular plate. The plate contains different combinations of pre-drilled holes which will match up to many electronic devices and mounts.Hows that for a discription! jimmy

I have been researching more and i think i can do the job myself,I have lots of guys (who have fished with me ) that are willing and qualified to help, so wish me luck I am going to start it the first weekend of March to ensure its ready by April!!!! ($1,000)along with a few other odds and ends.I am going to have the engine pulled by a pro i think.I hear that the lower can be a pain without the proper tools. Thanks for the input. jimmy

Has any one ever pulled a 305 merc I/O before? Can you pull it out with out taking the lower unit off?I am going to do mine next month to fix oil leaks and put the original exhaust back in the boat.I have read the book and it says i can pull it if i have room enough to move it off the drive shaft so we are going to try i guess.:eek:I will let you know how it goes.

I have switched all my deep lines to copper but still have 3 and 5 color for the top.The copper runs much deeper than the lead ,but is definitly much more tempermental as far as tangleing up in the reel.I can say that I have had more success on copper than lead ,I never had more than a full core of lead before because it took such a big reel and i didnt want to have to let others on the boat pull that much line in hahaha! jimbobber

Ryan, I run a #1 set on 1 for the wires and #1 set on 3for my highs all the time the only issues we have is setting in ruff water .We like white glow or green crinkle divers.I tried the mag divers but didnt like the massive pull. jimbobber

fished in front of OBI on lake Mac tonight and caught 16 perch (14 and Erv D. gave me 2) :Ddid best on minnows, but also got a few on wigglers.The shore ice is getting pretty bad with only a few spots to get on without getting wet feet but once your on the ice is solid and about 6" so be carful but there are fish there.Also talked to some guys who walked to the south side in front of the blue roof house from OBI they had 6 perch each but they were nice ones 10" or better i would say.

Mine were JP Slammers,#1 glow fire dog and #2 beef eater#3 killer green glow!I ran 3 glow fire dogs every time out in September because they were so hot for us. Jimbobber

I have not fished them before cus they were sundays but hope to this year but may 22 is the michigan steelheaders challenge out of holland so i wont make that one for sure.. jimbobber
