I had the same thing happen with the yellow bird last week out in 200 fow. anyone know what kind it is?

went out of holland last night went to 250 and fished to 270 went 11 for 17 all down 55 to 70 on riggers and 2 fish on dipseys with flies 218 on a high diver and 180 back on wire.we had 2 steelhead,4 lakers and 5 kings.Glow fire dog jp slammer took 8 hits and the rest were on coyote ugly,MIchigan Blueberry,orange high ball and double orange crush jp slammers. the fish are plentiful but the kins are small 4 to 6 lbs. jimbobber

Well we went to 260 and fished to 290 fow out of holland this morning we went 5 for 11 with one steelhead and 4 kings.JP slammer Glow fire dog took 4 hits,michigan sunset 3 hits,and mixed veggies 3 hits and one fish came on a mountain dew flasher with a mirage flie 180 back on dipsey.sounds like other guys did pretty well in 120 to 140 this morning. jimbobber

PS.I appologise to anyone who whitnessed my melt down at the ramp while trying to load my boat i sware it took 15 times to get it on the trailer correct.

good job phil, i tried last nite with the kids but had to pull lines as fast as i set em to beet the storm back!

went out of holland last night and fished in front of tunnel park.We went 8 for 11 we started in 200 fow and trolled in with the waves,we had four hits in 165 got one and then picked one up in 125 fow the rest came in 95 fow.Beef eater,glow fire dog,and nbk jp slammers took hits and the rest came on an 11" white echip with pickle sunshine flie on bottom,and on a green echip and white echip with pickle sunshine flies on dipseys set to run within 10 foot of bottom.final count was 1 coho ,1 laker, and 6 kings with a 19 lb and 17 lb being the biggest. jimbobber

Fished out of holland sat. mourning,went 3for8(we had 2 newbies on board). fished 80to100 fow had one hit on a beef eater jp slammer down 70 on rigger, one hit on 10"spin doctor down 90 on rigger,one on 360 copper on mountain dew dodger and oceana rapture flie,and the rest came on dipseys set 175 back on the wires, and 218 back on high divers . 2 fish were 8 to 10 lbs and 1 was 20 lbs on the nose . the fish seemed to be scattered. went out of holland tuesday eve. fished 94 fow and went 5 for 6 all kings with a 6 lb,8lb,and 3 in the teens. They were all 70 to 85 down and came on dodgers and flies ,mountain dew with a purple mirage flie,white e chip with a pickle sunshine flie and a white 10" spindoctor with a pickle sunshine.2 came on a high diver set 218 back on 3 and fire line,1 came on 225 copper,1 came on wire diver 175 back,and the other came on rigger 90 down.For the perch guys we marked a huge school of perch in 94 fow straight out of saugatuck we know they were perch cus when we pulled lines just after the school we had a 10" perch on a jp slammer spoon. tunnel is North of holland about a mile you will see a stretch of grass on the dune. jimmy

went out of holland last night up by tunnel park in 90 to 100 fow.Fish near bottom and troll slow!we went 6 for 10 all kings 2were 8 lbs and the rest 10 to 16 lbs 3 were on an nbk jp slammer 90 down on rigger and 3 were on a 10" spin docter all white with a pickle sunshine flie 90 down on rigger and the rest came on wire dipseys 175 back,#1 dipsey with a large ring set on 1 with white e chips and green flies. I got my boat fixed and hope to try it out this week some time. Jimbobber

we fished sat. am went straight out and trolled with the waves ,we picked up 5 quick onesin 80 fow just south of holland with 2 being a double we then fished until 10:00 and got three more hits lost a nice king at the back of the boat and two hits on riggers that didnt stick.three fish came on wire dipseys 125 and 150 back set on one with white dodgers and green flies.the rest came on slammers on the riggers ,glow frog ,mi. blueberry,nbk,and orange high ball jp slammers.seemed like there was a thermal cline at around 55 foot down.ended the day 5 for 8 south of the ball we had aruff ride back to holland and I may have hurt my engine not sure yet ,hope to get out asap to check it out! went out of holland in the pm and went 3 for 4 in 90 fow ,1 king 8 lbs came on Michigan blueberry jp slammer on 5 colors of lead and 1 laker came on nbk jp slammer on 150 copper and 1 laker and a lost fish came on wire dipsey 125 back set on 1 with a mountain dew dodger and mirage flie.The lake seemed to be turning over again as the current was going to shore and the temps were 44 deg all the way into 55 fow.We marked a lot of bait in there but not much for big fish. went fishing out of holland thursday night went 6 for 10 in 130 fow.fish came on 150 ft. of copper with a glow blue wonderbread jp slammer,and on 150 copper on a NBK jp slammer,and on riggers 35 to 45 down on mixed veggies slammer and killer green glow slammer and one laker on bottom on a tin can dodger and green flie.the total was a 13lb steelhead ,1 salmon 8 lbs, two small salmon 3 lbs (released unharmed)and 2 lakers 1 about 5 lbs and one undersize also released unharmed.A fun night for June for sure! jimbobber

the kings were 5 to 8 lbs so not huge but good eaters!The steel were running at the boat and jumping kinda tuff to catch up to them on copper and boards!
