I Am going to write a full review of Mikes flies after i get out a couple of more times but here is a pic of a fish i took the first time out,Im not sure of the flie name cus there was none on the pacage and i think i may have the wrong beads on it but it works!!! The double hooks were both thru the mouth and sticking out of the sides!!!Good product. Jimmy

Mark, it was great talking to ya its always fun to have someone to" fish with" out there.

we went out of port sheldon last night ,fished from 6:00 til dark.The fish were still in that 80 to 100 fow and 120to130 fow ,we marked lots of fish all night. we ended upgetting them in 80 to 90 and anded up with 6 for 9 with the biggest being 15lbs.things taht worked are as follows:

glow fire dog jp slammer on rigger 76 down went 3 times

lemon lime ice jp slammer on rigger 65 down went 2 times

glow fire dog on 300 copper went 1 time with the biggest fish

cut throat jp slammer on 225 copper went 2 times

green dolphin jp slammer went 1 time on free slider 30 down

now of to ludville tomarow hope til kill the gills up there. anyone has and open 2 or 3 seats up there next week we would love to get out on the big pond. jimmy 616-240-7017

My 6 yr old Girl wanted to go fishing tonite so we went out ,she picked the lures and we fished for an hour or so,i was pulling lines in 75 fow and a rigger goes off on Abbies lure she picked(King Killer ) she reeled in the 6lb king and all i did was hold the rod,Wow that was cool!!:D jimmy

phil your rite about 3 yrs ago it was hot the whole month of june! This has been awsome again this year,good job Don and Nick,Don knows how to fish the ss,s thats for sure!!

Terry ,that sucks! There is another tangled mess out there tho ,i heard him this morning and saw him at the launch, I was wondering the same thing until i saw his boat,as for the imposter i have not heard him but if i do i will call him out thats for sure! Jimbobber

we went out this morning,fished 80 to 130 had one hit in 120 and 4 in 80 fow we had 2fish 70 down on rigger on glow fire dog JP Slammer,1 on 150 copper orange and gold jp slammer,1 on wire dipsey 110 back set on 2 on green dolphin dodger and manistee monkey raptuere flie,and 1fish on rigger 80 down on NBK jp slammer we ended up 3 for 5 had to quit at 9:30 cus the lake got to ruff:(.The temps were very warm 62 deg. 75 down from 80 fow to 130 fow.

I also donated 2 dodgers and flies and one dipsey to the fish gods this morning they got tangled and twisted off:o:mad:I also broke a reel handle off as well so WILD AT HEARTS ju ju got me ,Kevin I should not have made the comment about his roller rod i quess. JImbobber AKA JIMBOOGER

you know I geuss i never thought about that but it makes sense ,I think the days when we get bite on the entire set up we troll into the current and other times when we troll cross curent it does seem like we only get one side to work ,its worth watching , Thanks for the idea. jimmy

left the dock at 5:00 pm and fished til dark30 .fished 80 to 90 fow south of holland ,went 6 for 11 ( had a couple of guys that dont get out much) soooo we lost a few.All were kings, all but one was 10 lbs or better thingd that worked are as follows:

wire dipsey 90 back set on 2 with a mountain dew dodger and gold flie(had a big fish hit so hard he broke it off:mad:

wire dipsey 110 back set on 2 with a green dolphin dodger and gold flie

high divers set on 3.5 150 and 175 bck with green chrome dodger with green flie and blue chrome dodger with blue flie.

jp slammers,glow fire dog,cut throat,king killer,beef eater,coyote ugly all took hits on everything from 1/2 core to 300 copper .

sound like most of the fishe last night were in that80 to 100 fow again saw lots of fish at the cleaning station.

Special thanks to Kevin on Wild At FART for giving the fish Gods that 10 foot roller wire rod a couple of weeks ago cus I think we have made it thru the June slow down!

MIke it depends on the timing i am interested but will be in ludinghton frrom 6-25 to 7-4 camping with the fam. so wont be able to get out that week. jimmy

my top 5 pics would be as follows,#1 glow fire dog,#2NBK,#3king killer#4beef eater,#5mi. sunset. these spoons are my go to sets every time out.We do switch the hooks around (old school)and get a very agressive "swim" but you have to watch your speed they need to run above 2.5 at the ball to be the most productive we like to run them this way when we are running lots of spinneys fast.We switched the hooks to the large side cus they are much more speed forgiving .let me know if you want some. jimmy

Went out last night again and had a very similar night ,we fished for a couple of hours with out much luck then found fish .we strarted in 90 trolled to 110 turned around went to 75marke some fish but no luck,pulled lines ran to 140 found lots of fish out there and caught 2 Lakers out there then pointed east again hit 88 fow and all heck cut loose we picked up 4 fish in a half hour those four fish came on Glow fire dog jp slammer the lakers came on a dipsey with a green and chrome flie 200 back on 3,and a glow fire dog 136 down on rigger.ended the night 6 for 9 ,,,4 kings and 2 lake trout.:DI hope the fishing keeps being this good , but i did notice the sea flees are starting and that usually kills the fishing for a while.

Hey Roger, now i can put a face with the name,,,I am bad with names personally but try my best to remember.Is that a new boat for mike? looked like a nice ride.You guys did pretty good to for June!

just weighed in one of the kings for the summer salmon slam it was 14.2 lbs may get a weeekly prize with it i guess. jimmy
