  1. One sold on another website. One available. These will be made ready to rock with no chips or other equipment to buy. There is nothing like following your tracks on a large screen zoomed way in.
  2. I have the dashboard turned off n these screen shots. Just control D and it's back on.
  3. Everything that you need is provided. No Chip games to play. Thousands of charts are available free of charge from our government. You tell me what you want and I put it on. Navionics and others take the government charts and modify them slightly and make them proprietary and sell them to you for hundreds. Typically I load the whole GLs package. Big screen zoom is amazing. The smaller the screen the less likely you'll be on track when following your track. You have seen smaller screens than your 7 and when you go to a 10 or a 13 it's just better. I like running two separate units rather than a spilt screen on a combo or toggling back and forth from sonar to chart. The GPS signal with this set up is amazing. I routinely maintain signal in my basement and in steel buildings. ` Can be used on and off the boat like a laptop on these are military spec. The USCG has this setup at the helm of the icebreakers. They are not for everyone but a lot of folks have seen the value in these. Myself included. What got me started down this road about 7 yrs ago was the chips. Every time I looked at a several hundred dollar unit they wanted more money for a chip or here a chip for there etc. It's just an alternative to what else is out there. You will not find much in the $400 range. Even off the water they are a nice planning tool. At the top of the dashboard is your current coordinates at the bottom is your cursor coordinates. Keyboard shortcuts do most of the work. Man overboard is control spacebar. Zoom in is control Z. Zoom out is control X. How is this for a zoom out? And just click on any part of that screen and get an zoom in with numbers you can see forom several feet away.
  4. These are VN Toughbooks and Chartplotter will be installed at your request. Of course these have WIFI and other means to connect to the WWW. Both units have excellent Touch Screens. Included are GPS, DC and AC chargers. Both are now running the latest Windows10 64 bit version, and have 2GB of RAM and upgraded to a 250GB Hard Drive. These are used by our military including the USCG on our Great Lakes Icebreakers. These are also great in all kinds of shop or garage environments. I select the best Toughbooks I can find and upgrade them. These are made to take a beating and some do. These two have seen light duty. These also have MS Office. $400 Add $15 if you need a built in DVD CDRW drive. A package of over 7000 inland lakes can be added very reasonable.
  5. The Kings, and other eating machines will eat what is available. Like us they all have their favorite foods, but when a steak is not available a hamburger will do.
  6. I'll have some more of these available soon. I look for and find units that are in very good condition and do what's necessary to update them. This set up maintains signal better than anything I have ever seen. I can get signal in a basement or steel building where other units can't. Keyboard shortcuts make it easy to use. Built in log book feature lets you add and edit info complete with automatic time, date, and coordinates. If they didn't impress me I wouldn't be doing this. Charts and software are inexpensively available for a lot of inland lakes also. Just basic computer skills are needed. The best value in large screen GPS chartplotters hands down. Of course like any other GPS they are not to be used as your only means of navigation. There is never a substitute for an experienced helmsman or captain. THANKS
  7. No self respecting king would put on 5/16" over a summer! LMAO That's why it isn't posted in the Salmon reports rather in the Walleye reports.
  8. I use my toughbook chartplotter for information I want to save. The SeaClear program has a built in logbook. If you put in a note it's complete with a coordinate and date automatically. At the dock or in the house you can later add all the details you want. Here's a screen shot. Click on pic to view.
  9. Both units are spoken for. Thank You Bo. Thank You Joe.
  10. Late in August 2 of fished in 30 FOW. We worked hard for 13 nice walleye on a constantly changing day. One of the fish had some lip bling and didn't know it was one of the few tags that are worth $100. According to the DNR about 10% of the tagged fish are stamped with the reward designation. The fish was an 18" male when tagged. I weighed and measured it at 1# 14oz and 18-5/16". We have taken numerous tagged fish over the years but this is the first reward tag. Another unique thing was this fish was tagged at the Au Gres River March 21, 2016 a 160 days before the catch. All of our other tags were from fish tagged on the Titt River.
  11. One of these is spoken for and will be picked up Sun. Buyers choice of what unit.
  12. Bo, I sent you an email with my phone # if you have any questions. Thanks again.
  13. One of these has a rubber backlit keyboard and low hrs. DVD R-CDRW $425 One has a regular keyboard and low hrs. $410 These are VN Toughbooks and Chartplotter will be installed at your request. 15. I recently acquired a Toughbook in Very Good condition. I upgraded it to Windows10 and upgraded the Hard Drive to 500GB. With the new owners permission I'll install Software to use this as a chartplotter. Included are a GPS, DC charger, AC charger. No disappointments with the condition of this unit. Of course this is a fully functioning laptop that can hold up to things that destroy normal laptops. Here are a couple of pics. $400
