  2. Hey Mark this was part of the plan, I did this in Ludington last month and it was a hit 'just think ya get back in from fishing and you dont have to make anything to eat it will be all dome"and by the way I saved a LOT of blue gills this spring and last winter just for this.
  3. Ok now that we are only 1 week away I would like to get a rough count on the number of persons that will be attending the fish fry on saterday afternoon please reply to this thread so far: DIRTY DOG and family Priority 1 and freind sea-mac
  4. Had a fair nite last nite, left the dock around 5 with 2 good freinds from work and set up in 130 fow straight out and worked a very large area from there to just north of saugatuck. We only took 1 bite as of 8 o'clock, and then IT ALL CAME TOGATHER, and we ended the nite around 9:45 going 9 for 12 with the best area being 110 to 120fow just south of the Holland harbor. Here is a list of hot set ups. Silver Streak Metalic Green glow frog on a 12 color Stingray blue wiggle as a slider on a rigger at 65 Dream Weaver big paddle in blue bubble glow with a blue mist siggs riggs fly 150 out on a wire diver on 2 "HOT" Blue glow frog spin doc. and big wennie fly 130 out on a wire diver on 2 "HOT" White spin doc. and pickled sunshine fly 80 down on a rigger Sorry for not haveing any pic. but the camara was still on the kitchen counter when I got home . Aslo the catch consisted of 1 steelhead, 3 lakers and 5 nice kings.

  11. well I got a call from a couple of my cousins Saterday afternoon that were in town from North Dekota and said the would like it if I would take them fishin Sunday morning , well as many of you no , If someone asks I very seldom say no. Well after a late start do to a few extra barly pops Saterday nite trying to catch up on old times , we finaly left the dock around 6:45 and headed for the same waters as the day before and started to pick, but had to come in around 10 after one of the crew started looking over the side of the boat and thought he needed to do a little chumming,. We ended to morning going 10 for 12 with 5 kings and 5 trout, 3 of witch were under sized. Heres the list of steups that worked and a pic. of the catch. 10" white glow spin dr. and pickled sunshine fly out 150 on a wire diver on 2 big d.w. paddle in a blue bubble glow with matching fly on a wire diver out 175 on 2 green dolphin pro troll and green mist sigs rig on a braid diver out 225 on 2 big white paddle and purpal marage fly 100 down on a rigger and a double glow with a black ladder back silver hoard on a 12 color
  12. My personal favorites are the green or blue mylars, the double glow with the black ladder back, or any of the glows with the lightning stripes.
  13. Kevin my new boat is a 1989 221 Starcraft Islander with a white bimini,I fished south most of the morning.
