  1. So I decided to sleep in after being told the weather was going to be nasty this morning, "WRONG". After a little rushing around I put togather a crew of Kill in it, Juicy Baron , Dane and my self. We left the ramp at 10 ish and set up a mile south in 20 fow and worked that line all the way down to the south end of the dunes were we fininsh 24 for 27, and made it back to the trailer by noon. The catch consisted of 1 under sized lake trout and the rest coho. Here is what worked and they are Panty Ho Lady Bug Rapture Red herring bone River Rocker Org. red toped River Rocker all spoons were Silver Streak minis and one of the catch Thanks for comeing along guys it was another great time
  2. Mike Ive bought them at DNR sports in Kallamazoo. They work great in the river for steelhead aslo.
  3. Left the dock at a little after 7 this morning with Kill n it, Bendin Rods and Juicy Baron. We ran down to the pump house and fished 15 to 25 fow all the way down to cook and ended the day 26 for 30ish, 2 kings and the rest coho, we did let some go do to being a little small. Heres what worked. These are Silver StreakMini in Lady Bug Silver Streak Mini in Rapture Silver Streak Mini in Jerry Lee Not sure of the names of the River Rockers And the catch Thanks for coming along guys, we should do this again sometime, LOTS OF LAUGHS.

  5. Yup, and I seen 3 boats trolling about 2 hours ago.
  6. I also heard that the fishing was very tough with no fish taken today.

  17. As some of you may know, there is a tribal treaty revision coming up in 2020, this is to decide were netting can take place on the great lake. You can read more here "http://www.hollandsteelheaders.org/" at the Holland Steelheaders web site,. The input we are looking for is how many would be interested in having a inexpensive charity type tournament. This would be to help fund negotiations to slow down the progression on the netting on the great lakes. Like the nets in the Ludington area. It would be run similar to a league type event with most of the entries going to fund the cause. Prizes would be in the form of trophies or possible cash for big fish. This would be held from Holland. Thinking the entry fee would be $20 to $30. With that said, how many are interested.

  19. Same hear Dave , last yr I was working 3 weekends in a row and didnt get out hardly at all, this summer will be different ,I hope. Would really like to do some of these again.
