  2. Lines in at 530 pm. Started in 90. Wicked currents out here. SSE and NNW troll directions seem best. 1/3 so far. Lots of fish swimming in to the downrigger at 75 ft but not hitting the flasher fly. Watching them on Livescope.

  4. Went 6/9 from about 8 pm to 10 pm. 110-135 fow. Rigger with flasher fly at 85 took 3 hits. Mag dipsy at 160 with flasher fly took 2 hits. Downrigger at 35 took 2 hits with moonshine standard double trouble. Mag dipsey at 160 with meat took 1 hit. 250 copper with orange moonshine took 1 hit. 3 kings 15-17 lbs, 3 kings 7-9 lbs.

  7. Still fishing. Been working 65-115. 7-9 so far. 150 copper. 200 copper. Divers back 50-60. Downriggers 30-50. Meat rigs. Flasher fly. Moonshine spoons. A plug... They're just biting. Speed 2 to 3 at the ball. NE SW troll.

  9. Fished 7:45 til 10:45 pm. Thanks to @2MD for the report from the night before, we set up on fish and got 3 hits by 9 getting 1 to the boat. Then between 9 and 10 we went 4/5. All kings over 10 lbs. 2 around 16 lbs. Stayed between 90 and 125 all night. Any troll without east in it got hit. 2.5-3.0 mph at the ball. 400 copper - silver streak mag teal tickler Downrigger @ 55 ft - silver streak standard uv bloody nose 350 copper - moonshine mag blue pox Downrigger @ 55 ft - moonshine standard agent orange Downrigger @ 70 ft - moonshine standard snot nose ( A&K tackle) Mag diver back 105 ft - 8" white UV Slick spin doctor with mirage fly 200 copper - Moonshine mag double trouble Diver back 125 - 10" spin doctor with glow frog meat rig (spin doctor snapped in half on this fish. I'm saying it was huge!) Awesome night.
  10. Thanks for the report. Were out giving it a shot. 1-1 so far. Edit. 2/4 now.
  11. Lines in at 6:45 at 145 fow. First fish at 8:15, 22 lb lake trout. White flasher fly down 110. Second fish at 8:45, 5 lb king on 100 copper orange tuxedo gold. And that's it. Fished from 145 fow to 250 fow and now working back in. Dropped some flasher flies 150+ on the downrigger. Will see what happens. In 175 fow now.

  12. Smaller size. Biggest was 8 lbs for us. Fished Muskegon on Sunday and also got 4 kings, but they were 8-14 lbs maybe?
  13. Lines in at 5:45 am. Pulled lines at 10 am. Fished from 80 fow out to 205 fow. Slow day but we put 5 in the box. All bites between 160 fow and 205 fow. 2.2-2.7 speed at the ball. White w/ green/blue tape 8" Pro King paddle took 1 lake trout, 1 king down 85-105. 400 Copper with purple silver streak standard spoon took 1 king. 200 Copper with silver streak mag blue dolphin took 2 kings. Slide diver back 185 with 8" green paddle and meat rig took 1 hit, but got away. Downrigger at 85 with 10" white/blue spin doctor and fly took 1 hit but got away.

  15. Bait may be slightly delayed on the spawn. Could keep the kings around longer into June. Could mean a delayed run in August September?

  17. Was about 100 feet of visibility until 100 fow, then maybe 150 feet. It cleared off around 8 pm.
  18. All kings tonight between 3 & 12 lbs.
  19. Went back tonight. Found em again in 200 fow and stayed between 185-200 fow. Finished 7/9. Hottest rods were 250/350 coppers. Silver Streak Mag Mixed Veggie on 250 and Silver Streak Standard Bloody Nose on 350. Also took fish on downrigger at 45 feet with mag bloody nose, and a 2 color lead with a Stinger blue/green spoon.
  20. Set line in 200 fow around 6 pm, working back on a SSE. Pulled lines around 10 pm in 80 fow. Went 3/5 on the night. 2 kings around 11 lbs and a 15-inch shaker. Two bites we lost were bigger fish. Lots of marks in 200, 175, 160 fow - down 70 to bottom. Tried a deep downrigger at 140 feet for 30 minutes but didn't get bit. 200 fow King - 350 Copper Silver Streak Bloody Nose standard 195 fow King (lost) - Slide Diver back 70 Silver Streak Mixed Veggie Mag 160 fow King - Downrigger Silver Streak Bloody Nose Magnum 150 fow Shaker king - Downrigger Silver Streak Bloody Nose Magnum 130 fow King (lost) - Wire Diver back 80, white double uv slick spin doctor and poofster fly. No marks on the fish finder inside of 120 fow.
  21. There's usually a good batch of fish this time of year between 120-240 (not the whole range but some groups of fish between there). Just need to find them. But there could also be good numbers in close to Saugatuck. The fish move a lot day to day.
  22. Pretty confident good numbers of fish are out deeper.
  23. Low and slow... Or I often swap in smaller spoons (superslims) and FAST. 3.5-4 mph.
