havent posted much lately but here you go frist of thanks to jim bobber for a fun summer thanks buddy well the salmon are not the only big fish this year in the last month i have seen more mid teens steelhead than ever before lots of fun the grand has alot of steel in it been doing farly well every trip eggs and anything that looks like a egg has been working the one thing i notice this year very color senitive the rest of the year looks to be setting up nice for a fun winter would not surprise me to see 20lb steelhead this winter and spring those giants are alot of fun this time of year will post more later with pics have a safe fall everone:thumb:

lots of fish in close right now saw lots of cohos this morn of the pier and perch but water can change quick work the edges charters were getting them in chnnel this morn good luck

thanks guys been fishing the piers all my lifeand know itst a funney thing just want to get some other inputs iseem to do better when the lake flips in june than july and some times august for the kings and cohos and they do feed at night thats when ido my best usally put in many hours over the years to find out that 0 times out of ten they feed every 4 to 5 hours wed night they feed for 3 hours it was crazy thanks for the input

had agreat 4 dats fishing the pier from wed to sun morn caught fish everyday my question is and im just tring to get some other feed back the temp were right the bait was there but no salmon caught one thru morn lots of skams around but no kings.just wondering on thought as to why the kings werent around with evrything right the water, the bait ,the time of year but no kings,whats your opion?

fished the pier th last to nights wed night was crazy between 4 ofus we hooked about 30 fish never seen so much bait best time was 12 am till 330 last night was not as good only managed 6 1 king wed the rst were skams pretty fun couple of nights shrimp did most of damage caught a couple on spoons wish wind would make upits mind

looks like lake stating to flip and weekend anglers confirm that wanting to hit the pier thxs

fished wed night into thru morn between me and my friend went 2 for 7 all steel with a rael nice bouns perch they hit shrimp,alwives,and cut bait,nothing on spoons tried that for about 3 hours,there was alot of fish around ovr the last couple years the skams have been pretty good off gh saves the trips to st. joe and the gas enjoy the holiday wekend and be safe

check the weather buoy very helpful im a avid pier fisherman and coastal watch can be very wrong depending on cloud cover
