  1. havent posted much cause there hasnt been much to post unfortunately with the low water and clear water fishing is tuff in most places am managing a fish or two but got to work alot harder than im used to but thats fishing when thing get tuff thats when i find a new way to get them but mostly light line and 2and3 egg sacs has been whats working happy thanksgiving to all and be safe

  3. its amazing what a little rain will do a awsome morning of fishing lost count after the 10th one all in 3 hours of fishing as fast as you could get it in the water they would bite sure makes up for the slow days
  4. fishing has been slow of late with low water and gin clear water its tuff go small and light my opion not alot of fish in the river yet need rain bad
  5. well there are a few fish around a nice push of steel around so at least theres a few bitters in need of some rain baaaaaad did see a few more king around this morning
  6. iwas on the grand obove 6th street this weekend wont be doing that again never seen it that low it is making for some tuff fishing thats for sure the one nice thing the low clear water lets me know where the the walleys are at night a new method shinning for walleys kinda fun to spot and stalk walleys look for the eyey glowing and game on
  7. throwing a deep diving thunderstick towards the damn and reeling it back at you with the current ive used them against the current but never like that the bad thing about 20 people were watching him going i cant belive it
  8. w ell the coho have moved on for the most part it was a fun couple weeks not very many kings around yet did manage 3 steelhead today it was nice to see them nothing better than jumping chrome on a nother note i was reminded today of why it is fishing is so fun i,m always learning new ways to catch fish i watch a first timer do pretty good on walleys using a technique that i never seen down there or even thought would work but i now have have another weapon in my aresanal
  9. last weekend alot of fish went into pm lake ifished the pier and did well so i would check the lower sections frist not much rain at all
  10. run deeper and look for the younger salmonand steel there out there

  12. to all the guys that let us none big boat oweners ride along this summer a big thanks after reading all your reports its now my time of year to report hopefully my fish porn will help you make it through the winter and get you ready for spring just want to say thanks to a good bunch of guys that i have met from here
  13. good night of fishing went 4 for 9 on the pier last night the boat were hitting them pretty good in the channel for you pier fisherman you might want totry jigging your spoon back to you raise up and let it flutter down you might be surprisieetrievedame at the results i hooked more than anybodyelse with this technique and only one came on a retrive
  14. well the east winds didnt cool off the water as hoped but they did get a few of manistee pier guys on each side of me caught fish throwing same spoon as me but i wasnt lucky enough nice time any ways not very many fish at tippy either had a buddey fish all weekend for 5 fish need some more rain and cold water
  15. headed to ludington sun wife is gonna let me fish never fished lud or manistee pier is it pretty much the same as pier fishing elsewhere ive fished st.joe to gh so not new to it with the east winds which would be better same methods as elsewhere alewives and spoons anything i should know about any help would be nice which is more fisherman friendly thanks have a safe holiday weekend
  16. warm all though i usally catch alot of catfish this early but today not one catfish so it might be a little colder have had some chilly nights
  17. fished this morning seen a dozen steelhead caught a couple kings hitting the damn i caught a small coho but my buddie caught this 17lb brown had to hand land it that was fun and very wet put got itn done a nice rain would help but there is a few fish around the brown ate a nightcrawler:lol:e
  18. i like frogtoggs thier uper end stuff is very durable i fish in all kinds of weather never get wet very wind proof and very durable frist ones i found that have stayed waterproof and held up to the punishment i put them through not bad on price
