where would you start fishing with what. I was hoping to make to out to the bay but with the bad ice reports i thought that the river might be the next choice. So i want to know the no hows or this fishery. Thanks for all the imput you can provide.

i just went to the great lakes crossing and they didnt really have that much for salmon rods i think they had 20 or so diwia hartlands and 10 shimano TDRs and that was it for salmon rods. I was looking for a 7' wireline rod for a 300 copper and they didnt have a very big section of salmon stuff at all i was kinda disiponted.

Went back to rattail after school fish from 3:30 to 5:30 and couldnt keeps lines in the water fish were comming in 21 fow and 5-12 down sight fishin was the best to get the bigger gills. We ended the day 39 gills had 3 gills over 10 great day and keep forgetting the camera. Bait or no bait fish were really active. Gotta love it when its stupid fishin:lol::lol:

Me and a buddie went out about 3:30 set up in 21 fow and the screen was lit from top to bottom with fish. Didnt keep anything less that 7 inches. The color really didnt matter and some times i was catchin fish on just the jigs with out waxys some times. I had a back and orange on. We pulled up at 5:30 though we had our fill end with 46 gills and sunfish. Didnt really need the vex i was mostly sight fishin. Great time on the water one of the best days iv had.

yeah the paint does chip off but i think that was with the older spons i picked up the new 09s and they didnt really chip of and i tend to take alot of fish on mooshines.

THe kings liked to hunt out the low wire divers and the rigger cables. I do tie the palomar knot and i was running 20lbs flo and i was checkin for nicks in the line every fish. Must of had some bad jewjew on the boat. it was werid i was catchin 4 year olds they wouldnt fight untill about 80 feet from the boat then they would go crazy and try to go everywhere.

My was hands down the moonshine sarge in the spring it was hot in the reg size. In the summer and fall it was HOT in the mags i counted it up i bought over 12 moonshine sarges. The fish liked them so much they wanted to take it with them. This was one of those spoons that i could put down a catch fish on it about everytime.
