caznik Posted April 28, 2007 Share Posted April 28, 2007 Day 5 Well it took my dad five days before he happen to get his nice big tom this year with his cross bow. It was 21lbs. and had a 9" beard with 1" spurs. My dad shot it around 8am and I tracked it for him for most of the day. I went out one time and gave up looking for it because I lost the blood trail. Then later on I happen to think more where this tom could have gone and went back out for another hour and finding it about 100 yards from where he shot it. Man I was pretty lucky finding that bird in the swamp grass we have in the back of my property. Rich Dads turkey held by my daughter because when I found it he was playing BINGO...
