DipsyDew Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Bear with me guys, my first report, relatively new to the addiction Heard the fishing was good in tight yesterday from a reliable source after the lake flip, so we left the dock at about 6:30 PM hoping for some action in close. Started setting lines at about 70 FOW, and started a north troll… For about an hour and a half, nothing was happening for us, but everyone else seemed to be having very good action in that 120–150 FOW. Around 8:15, things changed for us… We switched to a north troll, and increased our speed just a hair also. We picked up a nice 10–12 lb king on a high diver/Green Crinkle Fly down about 45–50 feet. For the next hour though, as it got dark, it was lights out… Just me and one other guy had 4 fish on at once, pure chaos . Lost about an 18–20 lber in the flurry right at the boat trying to leader the king in (another diver bite with Green Crinkle), but landed the other three thankfully. One of the three we landed in that frenzy ended up being about a 20 lber, which came on the Wonder Bread spoon and pulled the board pretty far under, which is always fun… Action continued to be steady until about 10:15, then we decided to call it quits and head in. Think we ended the night 6/9, was a beautiful night on the water! We hit the fish in around 85-95 FOW for the most part, but seemed like they were spread out around a variety of depths in general. Special shout out to 2MD (and sons), they’ve really put time in showing me the ropes and getting me to where I’m at today! Bloody Nose on Rigger (45’) – 2 Kings Green Crinkle Fly (Diver 45-50’) – 2 Kings Fireball (7 Color) – 1 King Wonderbread Spoon - 1 King  6
