Muskegon 04-03 PM

After work yesterday, I went up to Muskegon and met Tinman6 at the boat to hook up my fish finder. After it was hooked up, we headed out on the lake to try our luck. We set lines around 5:00pm at the end of the inner pier. The wind had been blowing out of the South/Southwest. Once we hit the outer pier, we turned North and followed the pier into the sand bars. We had 3 boards off each side of the boat. We put the boat in between the first and second sand bar and went North past the bath house, then turned around trolled the same path back to the end of the pier. By then it was 6:20 and I had to get going.

There was 4 other boats fishing between the arms. The water temp on the lake 45.2 and in the brown water around the piers it was 47.

Next time out, I will get to spend some more time on the water and get the kitty out of the boat.

It's GR8 U made it out. I hope to have mine in the next decent day. It's always nice to get that shakedown cruise behind you, and start concentrating on fishin.
