Depending on the winter, spring kings can make their way to Grand Haven and Muskegon by the 2nd or 3rd week of April. If not, fishing can be extremely horrible and non-existent since the Brown Trout fishery has taken severe punishments. April is a hit or miss month depending on the water temperatures and the traveling patterns of the spring kings.
