News Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 The Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and Underwater Preserve encompasses 448 square miles of northwest Lake Huron, off the northeast coast of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The Sanctuary protects a nationally significant collection of more than 100 shipwrecks, spanning a century of Great Lakes shipping history.More...
