littleboat Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Fished Holland 8:30 am -12:30 pm. 80-105 FOW, 3-4' waves, surface temp 66. 2 for 3, SOG 2.4, DR 55 dwn 60' back with green flounder pounder got a 4.38# king. FC lead with Ed Ganger Glo at 2.6 SOG got a 8.11# steelhead.But the real excitement came when a large steelhead took my 3 Color with a glo berry, jump 15' in the air, broke and my line a 100 ft from the boat. I lost my church board as it slid down the line. We looked for about 20 minutes with no luck to try and recover it. The capping waves made it difficult.
