jimcr Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Got the itch in the middle of the week and the weather cooperated and we headed out and fished near the wreak. four color was the hot setup along with the wire dipsy. Flasher flies took 1/2 the fish. We took some photos but didn't have a scale with us for the contest . 2 of the lures we used that evening pulled fish. Hot spoon Double orange crush UV , and the other was a tequila sunrise. Both UV Spoons. we went 6 for 9 on thursday. Saturday evening a little different , Decided to fish the filter to the towers , holy cow ! all the boats! I don't like bumper boats so we tried to stay out on the edge. We started with a screamer on the wire dipsy the would fire 2 more times and take only 1 more fish. Washed lures for what seemed all night before it all broke loose with both riggers firing at once . picked away for the rest of the night going 9 for 13. Freezer is full so I am taking off this week to do things around the house. Was out with Salmon Assassin today and had to work really hard for the fish we picked up.
