[Fishing Report]

Has very good trout and salmon fishing along the Bank and to the north off Point Betsie. Chinook, coho and steelhead have been caught in 50 to 150 feet of water using a variety of spoons. Pier anglers have caught a few salmon when fishing off both sides in the early morning or late evening.

Fished this weekend (not in the tourney) out of Frankfort. Had 18 kings on Saturday morning and 5 Sunday morning. Average size was 11-15 pounds with only a couple around 20. Lost a coho at the net and that was the only one I saw all weekend although there were some being called out on the radio. All but 2 fish on J plugs, the others on meat. Fished Thursday out of the Platte, got a late start and went 1 for 2, done at 8:30am. Rivermouth is not yet dredged out and somewhat tricky. Other boats had 3-5 fish, mostly smaller kings caught early. Lots of fish yet to be had, good luck.
