Nailer
I export my files to a folder at a lower resolution. Then load them. For web posting, you can get away with %50 of the resolution.
Eyefull
You can also right click on your photo, then open with microsoft picture viewer. Click on Picture in drop down menu, click resize, then choose 640 x 480, save and done.

I use it and run it right after I upload my photos to my computer. You won't have to get a different camera.http://www.stormdance.net/software/photorazor/software overview.htm
