GLF Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Important details about my report.I was prefishing for the WMFL event that was suppose to be fished on Sunday. I ran to Duck Lake to get away from the other boats. We caught a couple fish at Duck Lake and trolled back to Muskegon.The surface temp in from of Duck Lake in 70FOW was 65 degrees. At 30' down, it was 54 degrees.The surface temp in front of Muskegon in 70FOW was 60 degrees. This cold water was from the piers to 1-2 miles North. At 30' down, it was 48 degrees.There is a large pocket of cold water in front of Muskegon, and this is where most of the fish are being caught.
