Those are some awesome fish...Congrats!!!

We have a Shakespeare on ours as well. I cant recall the model, but it was pushing on $200. When it comes to antennas done skimp, cause you will get the performance that you pay for. Ours works fantastic. I can fish up in Augres and hear guys on the south end of the bay.

We've had the EZ Steer on our Hydra-Sports since we got it in 2000. Has worked great for us. We never have to remove it with our dual outboard set up. We do have a panther lift on our kicker.

Sunday evening i had a huge mark come through when i was out in the south end of the black hole. I looked down expecting to see a big gar only to see a BIG walleye. Had to got 8-10# easily. So, i jigged up there awhile, but nadda.

Cool, let me know Steve. I like the area i fished tonight. More fish and they wanna bite. None of that lookin b.s.!!! I also think a decent percentage of the fish out deep are not walleye. Theyre nature just doesnt fit. Guess i should get a camera. Seems walleye will normally stick around a bit and look it over if they dont bite. Not that mark the fish, move the bait and theyre gone. Hell, they were shying away from a minnow on a hook whatever was down there. Tongiht was mark fish and fish on!!!

I tried a new area looking to strike gold, but didnt do too hot Steve. Was about 2 miles east of you guys. Marked about 6 fish out there and got a couple. Rick had a little flurry and pulled some fish quick. Other than that, pretty slow. Shoulda came back in there for the evening bite, but im always looking for more more more. Stayed the night at base camp, wow whatta wild night. Didnt get to bed till 2 am, the shrimp boil rocked again. Got up at 5:45 am, left base camp at 6:15 and headed out to where we fished Saturday morning with the group. Fished a couple hours and got 3, lost 2 and then headed back to help tear down base camp. Sad day to be sure, wish we could leave it up all year long. Great times.
Fished this evening in the blizzard. Snow drifts abosultely suck out there. Worked the heck outta the Honda. It was worth it though. Ended up landing 9 eyes and a whitefish and lost WAY too many. I hate jiggin raps!!!!

Diving would be awesome!

when we fish steelhead. The one thing we look for is cold water with a temp break and scum lines. When we fish steelhead we run high divers with orange and put out as many birds as possible with orange spoons. I like this water our deep cuz you cant put out 18-23 lines when were out there we run riggers for lakers we put out any yellow spoon or tin and with a green fly down deeep big lakers are usually found. I really like this fishery cuz its a lazzy mans fisherey, get out there by 9-10 and come in by 3 with a boat load of fish cant gett anybetter.
yes!!!!

I use mine when fishing shallow or high in the water colum. You have shorter leads out most generally, but the slide diver allows you to lengthen your lead from diver to bait which lets you get it away from the boat. Works fantastic.

If your talking about the Copeyon Park launch, then yes its big enough for your boat. Pere Marquette Lake is also plenty deep for you and connects to the lake. And yes, the fishing is fantastic in July and not all that many people yet. Thats when i transform from walleye whackin to salmon slammin'! Fishing is good by the point, but i prefer to fish strait out or south as there is still plenty of fish and not as heavily fished. Keep up with the net updates so you have an idea where theyre located. There were several from Big Sable Point south towards the Project last year. Good luck to ya, one of the best ports on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan...Love Ludington, come on July!!!
