The wild action of that VK Flasher reverses it's spin. That may help prevent line twist.

It was slow to load, but worked.
It loaded in a flash for me today.

Mike I tried one that I had and it's a no go. Maybe the state didn't pay their bill.

It looks like the tug was moored to the wall. The picture and video shows sheet piling along this cut. It looked like a crane or possibly two cranes could set up close on the bank. This time of year makes everything a little tougher. It will be big bucks for sure to raise and repair or scrap that tub.

To make a groove in a pin chuck the pin in a drill motor. Use a small file to cut the groove. If the groove is wide use a 1/16 cut off wheel in an angle grinder to cut the groove. We did a lot of similar stuff on construction jobs but didn't have a lathe. There are a lot of ways to skin a cat. Use what you have.

Lake Erie has some hogs but there are some weak year classes. Back in the 80s Erie had mostly juvenile walleye and had a larger daily limit and I believe the legal size was 13 inches.
The Saginaw Bay in the 80s was Hog Heaven.

Not a good scene. It will take a decent size crane but there a a lot of them in this area. The vessel like anything is more buoyant in the water. When they get her to the surface they will likely start pumping the water out. They may even add Air bags to make it more buoyant.

The price is steep but the concept is good.

I have been running a pair of 55W halogens on my rocket launcher for a quite a few years. They work well. I think they were about $30 for the pair @ Boaters World. They make quick work out of glowing something up. They sure make a difference setting lines and landing fish. It's still nice to have a light on your cap to read the rigger counters etc. Sometimes you will block the light from the halogens.

Jay, Nothing better.

Bill, A warm welcome to the GLF site.

It isn't against the rules. Spoons, Plugs, Squid, Meat Rigs and Flies, have all been run behind Dodgers and Flashers. I'm sure other things have been tried also. The Dodger J-Plug used to be run a lot.

I'll keep that in mind Frank....I have 10 more to get that far.

Congrats Kenny - and I hope you have many more!

A warm welcome aboard Robert.
Holler if you need any hep. -
I hope your power comes on soon. I bought a generator about 6 months ago and used it twice since. I need to keep my refrigerator freezers going as well as heat. We lose power a lot here. Today it went off and on about 15 times.

I like the ones that SeaMac ties.
I would have to say they are medium.
