  1. Nice job Terry and crew!! Glad to hear your boat is back up and running.
  2. Nice job Rich!! Love it when you dont have to track them.
  3. Had my son in law and a friend of his come up this morning to fish the big pond with me. Ended the morning going 7 for 10 with 6 kings and one lake trout (going back). First hit at 7:30 come on a dipsey 125 back with white flasher/blue glow fly with a decent king being landed. Next to fire was NBK 48 down on rigger with another king. Then the full core went went with wonderbread and looked like a nice stealhead from the way it was jumping and was gone after a few minute fight:angry2:. Dipsey fired again and landed another king. A little while after that had glow tangerine takes off on rigger 52 down and we put another king in the box. Full core went again with a nice 2 year old king on the wonderbread and landed that one:D. Dipsey went again and we lost this one. Switched a rigger over to a white flasher/blue glow fly and we took a lake trout on that set up 57 down. Had another hit on a rigger with green/black ladder pro king and landed another king. Had one more hit on the full lead we manage to boat another king trolling in while I was pulling lines. Another Good Day:grin:!! Action this morning was hottest from 7:30 - 9:30. Water has cooled down with surface temp being 58-59.5 degrees in 80 - 110 fow. Lots of bait fish in that water and everything on spoons were of the standard size. Tried a couple mags with no success.
  4. Terry, I take it you got your boat back together and up and going. Let me know if you will be going out in a few days or this weekend cause I will probably be out also. Does not look very good for a few days at this point! I heard you did well on ducks this weekend:D. Nice Job.
  5. Capt. Ed, Nice Job on the Steelhead slamming!! Nice pics on your web site:).
  6. Mike nice job on 5 for 5:grin:!!! Thanks for taking a pic of my boat on the water today. Never had one taken on the water and I gotta say it looks pretty nice:lol:. I may try and get out again in the morning also.
  7. HOLY SMOKES!!! She deserves some rest!! Very cool!! Congrats on the new litter.
  8. Fished Muskegon this morning and ended up going 4 for 7. Fished 140 to 170 fow. Took the majority of hits between 120 - 130 feet down on the riggers. We did take 1 fish at 65 down on NBK. Glow froggy took 1 and lost 1 at 120 and white flasher with blue fly and blue glow beads took 2 and lost 2 at 130 feet down. Another good morning in Muskegon with some nice 2 year old silver salmon.
  9. Top 3 for me were, 1) White flasher/Blue Fly with 3 Super glow blue beads 2) NBK 3) Dreamweaver Glow Frog
  10. By far I like the Moonshine when it comes to glow spoons. Blue Flounder Pounder and Turkish Pepper are 2 of my favorites. I also heard a lot of Moonshine Double Trouble doing quite well this summer on the radio.
  11. I am planning on fishing this weekend. It is starting to look like it will be a good weekend and looking at the surface temps we may have some cooler water moving in from to the north of Muskegon. Give me shout on the radio Mike.
  12. This little guy caught up with us out on Lake Michigan earlier this year as I think his gps may have been reading wrong in the fog:lol:. He stayed with us for well over an hour till the fog lifted then headed for shore.
  13. Got out again this morning for a couple hours and fished the nets. Got our first hit on dipsey 200 back with green spin doctor/mtn dew fly fought for a while then gone. Next hit on white flasher/blue glow fly 60 doown on rigger and the same thing on for a while then off:confused:. Next to fire was full core with stinger kevorkian and after a good fight landed a nice stealhead:). Got the core back out and the dipsey fired again and we landed a nice silver king. Turned and went back thru the same area and NBK 75 down went and was on for quite a while and then got off. Felt like another pretty decent fish. All in all another good morning of fishing .
  14. Mike, thanks a bunch for inviting us to go this morning. It was a great fishing trip and also learned some new ways of rigging that should help me in the future. It was great seeing Hunter reel in that King on the full core. He did a great job for being just 6 years old!! Thanks Again, Brek:grin:
  15. Congrads on a very nice 1st buck!!
  16. Nice buck Toxic. By any means I would not sneeze at the size of him. I would take him in a heart beat!!!
  17. Phil and Adam, nice pics and Sleds!! Looks like a blast!! Haven't been snow mobiling in years but when I did do it I loved it:D!!
  18. Clair, I live here in Muskegon and launch my boat at Grand Trunk launch (signs will say Millwakee Clipper). Take the Laketon Avenue exit off 31 and follow the signs that say Lake Express (aout 3 mi.). A little ways past the lake express entrance will be Grand Trunk launch entrance (there is a bait shop at the entrance). As far as trolling there is a place called the sand docks and it is just a little south of the entrance to the pier heads heading out to Lake Michigan. When you come out of Grand trunk you will also hit a shipping channel that I am seeing people trolling and picking up fish. Also anglers having been doing well in the channel between the break walls and the arms. If you go to the misc. photo gallery I have posted an airiel view of Muskegon Lake and you will see what the arms are. Check out my post from Sunday morning and the same lures are working in the lake as well as the big lake. Good luck and hope this helps, RedEye
  19. Here are a couple of the deer that I have taken. The first was taken in 1995 with a TC 50 cal. Hawkens. The second was taken in 1997 with a 20 gauge shotgun.
  20. Thanks Phil!! Some of the most fiesty fish yet this year. Not sure if I told you this yet but Congarts for being Top in the WMFL:yahoo:!! You had a fantastic year.
  21. Fantastic!!!! This is one of the best sites I have ever been a part of. Some of the best folks I have seen yet!
  22. Got out this morning and went 5 for 6. Fished 45 - 50 fow 25 to 35 down. Dipsey 125 back on 3 with white spin doctor/white glow fly went twice and landed both. White flasher/blue glow fly on rigger 27 down took 2. Green scaly J down 32 took a hit and we lost this one. Green J/Blk ladder down 34 took 1. Pretty wavey with 2 - 4 footers with an occasional 5 in the mix. All the fish we took put up a great fight and were all 4 year olds. Another Great morning out of Muskegon:grin:.
  23. Mike, I have been watching the forecast closely too. Not good:(!! Looks like if I do fish I will probably fish in Muskegon lake by the sand docks and the channel.
