  1. That just sounds painfull every time I hear it! Nice Flippin Day man!!!!!
  2. Heheheh, funny you should ask. I asked Mike that when HE lost the first board. (He did replace it for me too!) And yes, I always wrapped it just once. I honestly can't remember if I wrapped it yesterday or not. Short term memory is kinda blowed since High School....hehehehe... I still like the way Offshore boards run in the water. I'll get used to the walleye boards! I do like the release setup better!!! I usually find a board in Ludville, guess I gotta make a run there and look around:lol:
  3. I'm going to post pics I promise! I'm not as good at remembering exactly which name spoon I caught fish on so I'll take pics of the spoons too.....!!!!! I can tell you they were all Michigan Stingers! and of course a Pro Troll flasher by Custom Fishing Products and Siggs Rigs Fly!!! On our way out at about 10:30 a couple of fisherwomen coming in said everybody left out is heading for 120! I figured we'd get out to 110 look around down there and see what the temp was and drop some lines! I get the 2 1/2 cores set up and the first one takes a rip! 12lb king. Second fish came on the same setup (starboard board was hot until I got into the wire and lost a color:angry2:) 6lb king. Third fish came on a rigger down 70 (found cold water at 60 down, which the talk at the dock was before I left) He was a little dink that I didn't quite get into the cooler! Fourth and final came on a wire dipsey back 160 on 2.5 with the Siggs Rig/Custom fishing product setup in blue bubble 15lb king. One of these fish on the cores I lost my other Offshore board. I"ll obviously have 2 walleye boards now!!!!! Fish pulled the board down and lost the board but kept the fish!!!!!! I'll post pics! I'm pooped for now though!!!! I was straight out and slightly north! Every way trolling caught fish N, S, E, W!!!!!! Oh yea and fished from 11 and was back home at 3:30!!!

  5. Smacked 3 eyes 1 after the other in 78 degree surface temp up on the Hardy yesterday afternoon (2pm mind you).
  6. I've had 'em just check fish. Never want to see license 1! I don't think there is a norm. If they want to "check" something. They do!
  7. I think its actually 269- I'm sure thats what he meant!
  8. Yup! Mike (GLF) and I were just talking tonight about it..... He actually may play with a little fire in the morning and run a S/D Fly off the ball and a slider too!!! Can be effective, but can also be very messy!!!!
  9. I've got 18 Chukar chicks for sale for $3.00 ea, or $50 for all! pm or email for more info Thanks!
  10. I think I get more irritated with not being able to see anything i.e. setups, fish in the water, etc etc etc. I mean its doable, and I've had fun fishing after dark, just as long as I'm not setting up lines, or netting fish...lol.... (I'll drive, less stress)!

    Phone

My dash is smaller, but there was still room for your phone with mine bro! Other side of that could be..... When I hook it on a pocket while fishing, the phone goes in the pocket and the clip to the outside.... I've dropped mine out of the upper pockets of flannel shirts before... with the button buttoned!
  12. If we ever fish together remind me not to use that side..... Or even come near that side, its all you bro!!! Hehehehe.,..
  13. Thats Frigging Awesome!!! Did they feed the eagle? Or did the eagle just kill Wilbur the pet deer? Know what I mean? Quick someone translate please. Hehehehe....
  14. I had no place else to plug this in yet!!! Yes! Thanks to everybody that made another good time possible!! Especially Northern King and You Brian for making this happen!!!! I could have actually filled your coffee cup, I don't think I drank but about another 2 cups on the water!!! See Ya's in Muskegon!!!!! SOON!!!!!!!! Peace!!!!!
  15. The only poor quality there is...... HEAVY ACTION!!! ROFLMFAO!
  16. This is really like a Chevy vs Ford thing... You ask 10 different people, you get 10 different answers! I like the lo vis green also and I think the last thing I strung rigger reels with was Iron Silk?!?!?!?!??! Kinda weird to look at but I catch fish on it! (has almost a plastic sheen to it, which is why I say kinda weird to look at) I know its thinner then most 20lb test should be but can't give you a quote on the actual diameter. I've only fished league events this year and been using what I normally use for dipsey rods for rigger rods (which I think also have the Iron Silk on them) Call me weird but I think I change brand names every year just to "Try something new"!!!
  17. Been there, done that. Mine has been in the Hardy twice and Muskegon Lake once. I"ve dried it out all three times on the dash of the boat with the charger plugged in and still works!!!! (after about 24 hours of drying).....
  18. You expecting no one else to have their boat tied up here? Was tuff to get a 19' squeezed onto the visitor dock let alone the 27' Amberjack!
  19. Been there, done that! Sounds a little familiar to a Tourney Mike (GLF) and I just fished.... Still sounds like a riot though!!!!!
  20. You never know bud..... Freeze your head and have somebody bring you back.....heheheh....

    Near Miss

That was one of them heart thumpin misses!
  22. Wide and Wide Eye are the models. Speed and Temp for one. A portable case for one. The Wide Eye was a portable unit that I removed the mount for and fixed to my rigger board. (All the pieces are here, just not together) The transducer is portable (suction cup). The Wide came with my boat and has the speed and temp and all the mounts/cables. I get back with the type of transducer for this one.
  23. I've got a couple of Humminbird Fishfinders, electric trolling motor, a composite prop, an extra ship to shore radio, life jackets, bumpers, tackle, handheld GPS, and stuff I can't even remember. If your looking for something for constant use or a spare, I probably got one! (I mean I even own a pool that has never been built and a pool table that has never been built)(not for sale) The stuff's just collecting dust in the basement so pm me for info/pics/etc and lets do some bartering!!!!!
  24. For the extra anal I/O people, obviously just pull the plug on the alternator if you have any fears. It is possible to do a little diode damage jumping cars/boats.......
