  1. Fished 3+1. Setup in 80 ft for trout with no takers slid out to 90 and picked up a 12.5lb laker on diver with tin can and spin and glow. Then moved out to 130 and ran a salmon program. Had two drive bys on the rigger down 98ft. Caught a 14 inch king on a 200 copper with a blue dolphin and had an awesome steelhead rip and flip on the three color mac and cheese ss but he spat it out. Took another laker on a low diver down 80ft on a white paddle fly. Marked lots of fish but no kings to speak of. Only saw steelhead and Lakers at the weigh in. 19. worked the river water in front of the pier heads first thing went 0/2 on planer board rips. 1 on Yager bomb thunderstick, the other on a ministreak gold with pink spots. river water was 43 degrees and surround water was 40...the lake water was very silty with only about a foot of visibility, I think that may have stifled the fishing a bit. Won't be long now if the wind doesn't get crazy again and stir things up.
  20. Are there any tackle swapmeets coming up that anybody knows of?
  21. Set lines at 6:30 in 60ft marked lots of bait...took our first hit in 75 on Dr 60 ft down...mother of pearl plug...big king...pulled hooks feet from the net. Reset...took another hit...lost shortly after...225 copper went with a nice king mag green rv flounder pounder..finally got this one in the boat. 225 went again after reset..and lost the fish...mother of pearl went two more times with lost fish...so overall 1 for 6..fish fought like big kings screaming drag....very frustrating day but hey that's why we do it right. The wife and I still had a great day on the water. FYI one of the misses on the rigger was because me and the wife were lady and the tramping a piece red licorice! Lol
