  1. Hold on , I get it in a few.
  2. Had a great day even thought he fishing was a little slow on the DOG. Left the dock around 6:15 with my youngest daughter Morgan and a freind from work . We set up in 80 fow and went on a s.w. troll down toward Saugotuck ,and only had one 8 lb lakers by the time we made down there ,so I decided to point it west and start searching , shortly after passing the 150 mark on a n.w. troll we started picking at fish. We ended the morning at noon going 8 for 17 with 4 big cohos , 1 laker and 3 kings. What worked was a mt.dew spin dr on a 250 Blood Run copper, wounder bread glow spin dr on a 300 45lb Blood Run copper, white slick glow spin dr on a hi diver out 250 on 2, lemon ice spin dr on a hi diver out 250 on 2 and a glow mt dew spin dr on a wire divers out 170 on 2. Also , all the flys were green or purple maiage. Heres Morgan with her catch.:thumb:
  3. Nice job SUPPER SNIFFER.
  4. AWSOME job Adam, thats what it all about.
  5. Great job, I see a couple young men that look to be hooked for life.
  6. Great work Shawn, glad I could help.
  7. That is the best if your useing swivles.
  8. Ive had this problem also when makeing setups with 45lb copper. The only thing that Ive found to work is a small spro swivle, this will slide thru the guides of my Diawa wilderness rods and my okuma 55s that have the narrow level winds.
  9. As I said, there was NO , other boats there yesterday period.
  10. Dennis is always fun, we take him for the comady releif.
  11. Saugotuck get a MUCH biger run of fish than Holland , so I always try to go where the fish are the most plentyfull.
  12. Sorry the date should have been the 29th.
  13. Left the ramp around 6 this morning with my good freind Dennis and his freind Jeff. We decided to drop the probe in 30fow to see if the down temp had changed and we found 46 degree water 10 down so we pointed the DOG south and hit the throttle and headed for Saugatuck. We set up about a mile to the north and set out 50 and 100 ft of 32lb Blood Run copper on both sides with j-plugs and silver hoards in any pearl or silver and green pattern, also 2 riggers with the same and 2 braid divers with mountain dew and green marige flys out 30 and 35 on 3. And that is were the "mayhem" began, by the time we hit the Saugotuck peirs we were 5 for 9 with all kings in the 17 to 22 lb range. with "NOT A BOAT IN SIGHT"we worked the 20 to 40 feet range till around 9:30 and the water had warmed fast to a balmy 63 degrees. At this point we headed west and found a nice mix of younger fish in the 130 to 150 ranged that fell for last friday evenings program of Mountain dew spinnys and marage flys on every rod. Wich consisted of riggers at 60 and 70 ,divers out 225 on 2,and 250,300 and 350ft of 32lb Blood run copper. We finished the morning going 16 for 25 with 1 coho, 1 brown, 10 kings and 4 lakers 1 kept 3 released. and heres the catch.
  14. Yup very true ,there were also at the peir heads in saugy this morning, went 15 for 20plus in 4 hrs.
