    i also agree , i have 5 very large oaks in my yard and am normaly rakeing acorns by the bushle basket this time of year and i have not found 1 yet, or have i seen one hanging in the trees but that dos not bother my at all ,becouse i have seen more deer while hunting this year than the last 2 years combined, and have killed 2 to date 1 3 point last tusday and a big doe this tuesday only 2 more tags to fill before the gun opener and i can start stealhead fishing before the ice comes ps. did i mentoin that i have drawn a refuge hunt for the todd farm this year
  2. hunted the shiawassee fed. refuge for geese and had our 3 man limet by 8:15 ever morning and allso hunted the state refuge and got 29 mallerds and 11 woodes this last 5 days{only hunted the state side mon /tus./ and wensday }
  3. no ones been out roger the lakes been at small craft adv. it seems like for about 2 or 3 weeks
  4. hot n tots in the fall and loco spoons and rapelea in the summer it can be very good at times
  5. hey rich sounds like you like to go for a walk like i do, i went last saterday moreing and shot 5 ,then on monday after work and shot 2 more and wendsday and shot 4, sounds like tree rat pot pie for dinner to nite
  6. made it out tonite with my 2 doughters and wife for a nice nite of fishing and ended up 8 for 11. started out in 100 fow and went west and hit the fist fish at 105 and stayed around 110 to 125 on a north and south troll took 6 kings {4 to 16 lbs} and 2 lakers{4 and 5lbs9 } hot baits where dr. death dw. down 70 on corner rigger this look the lakers and 2 kings also a green bubble set up out 200 on a diver set on 2 this took 1 king a silver cut thoat on a full core took 1 and 2 on a atomic melon moonshine down 60 not bad for not seting up till 5:45 and pulling at 8:30 ,going again sundaymorning:D

  8. good luck hunting to all my boat will not get put away till it starts to freeze {thinking about skipping the deer hunting this year after 3 bad years of hunting and so many fish to be cought yet} GOOD LUCK TO ALL TERRY
  9. we ended up 10 for 16 8 kings /1 coho /and a stealhead we where in 110 to 135 fow going n.w. and s.e. the speed going south was aroud 2.2 and the speed going north was 3.3 to 3.6 we had 4 rigger set at 50/60 /70 and 80 with no sliders and 2 wire divers set at 240 and 250 on 2.5 1 wire had a meat rig this took 2 kings and the other with a white glow crush spinny and a green glow horse fly this took 1 steealhead and a king and 2 misses also a green dolphin silver steak with a glow back down 80 this took 4 kings and 1 lost a dr death dream weaver at 60 took a coho and a bluw dolphin stinger down 70 that took 1 kings and 3 lost fish WHAT A BLAST
  10. this was one of the funest leagues ive ever had the privledge to fish in and some of the most consiterate and helpfull peopal that ive had the opertoonity to be on the lake with in years ,and you are the man sixshooter for pulling a felow fisherman in a time of need see ya all next year

  18. so this is why you get along with heavy actoin so well
  19. got back out this morning for a last minet trip with the boss and his son and doughter again and did well . we got a late start be not getting lines set till around 7:15 and the radio chater sounded like around 40 ft was the number for the day. we ended up with 9 for 11 ,all kings in the 12 to 18lb range and all on spin dr and flys or plugs nothing on spoons for us to day we set, up 4 miles north of the peis and trolled south in 50 to 55 fow and had our fish by the time we got back to the peirs things that worked to day where /blue chrome spin dr and blue buble glow fly green chrome spin dr and seaweed glow fly these where 100 and 125 back on dipsys on 3 white glow crush spin dr green glow horse fly on a rigger 45 down double glow silver horde on full core glow gost j plug on full core ps there was a charter that was fishing the mud line in front of the peirs that looked to be doing very well and the best chance 2 was out deep some where and they where takeing pics of about 22 fish but most of them where in the 3 to 6 lb randge

  21. i dont no if any of you guy have ever experiaced this but while i was i musk. last saterday morning i lost a wally board that was pulling a full core and with the rest of the lines out and all of the rest of the boats around at the time i could not turn back to retreive it so i wrote it off as a loss well i had my name ,phone # ,and adderess and also boat name wrote on the with a sharpy well guess what i just got off the phone with a guy by the name of aaron barett , he told my that him and his girl freind where walking down the beach and found it near white hall and it was put in the mail this morning to make a long storey short i thought this was a very onist thing to do and if you are a member thanks a lot:grin:
