got mine to first hunt in area zf

all i can say is what a great last 4 day the wife and kids where gone up north to the inlaw so i made it a plan to get out on the ice as much as possible and here how it went thursday nite after work i went to swan lk here in allegan co. and took 25 nice crappies in 30 mins all from 8.5 to 10 inches friday nite after work 25 more crappie same lk same size from 4 to 5 pm saterday afternoon after work 50 gills and 3 walleys on maple lk in van burren co. from 3 to 7 pm with a freind from work sunday morning 50 gills from 8am to 11am with my dad on maple lk. sunday afternoon 75 crapppies from 4pm to 6 pm with my dad and a freind from work the crappies where on yellow or purpal jigs with spike in 20 fow about half way down and the gills where on org. jigs with spikes in about 8 fow on the bottomthe walleys where in 10 fow on jigin raps

well i got home from work friday and seeing that the sun was out for a change i decided to get the gear and go catch dinner i fished on swan lake in allegan co. from 4 pm till 6:30 and took home 20 crappie from 8 to 9 inches the bait of choise was a dj. custom jig in taqila sunrise or purpil people eater with 2 spike on , they where in 20 fow and down around 10 to 15 on the vexlar saterday i had to work most of the day and could not get out after i got home ,family things today i went up to white lake in muskegon co. for some perch jerkin and did very well , a freind from work and myself took 100 in the 8 to 9.5 inch range in 40 fow near the spot called the post office on the west end, todays baits where demond glow jigs in size 10 with minnows , wigglers or mousie it took most of the day to get them becouse of all the small one in there {must have cought close to 300} but it was still fun terry

i use 50 ft of 20 lb maxima and have never had a problem

my balls are all standerd round fined black 12 lb, and most of my divers are org with yellow rings, size o or glow mag rings

well i made it up to muskegon lk. yesterday with fishin machine for a day of perch jerkin we started fishin dear the sand docks in 38 fow around 8 am and end the day around 3 with our limet of 70 lake mi. perch {not yellow bellies} most where 8 to 9 inch with a few around 10 {LOTS OF SORTING} i think we cought a few over 200 the best baits where minnows on a gold number 6 hook or 3 mousies on a number 10 hali jig ,but we also got them on demon glows ,rat finckys and most any thing else that would hold bait such as wiggles , minnows or mousies thanks for coming along bob terry:grin:

i use a 1million candle power spot lite ,got it at the doller store and it works great for coming in after dark also terry

all ready for spring there mr. timmy i took it out in oct. for a test run and took a 4 man limet of kings in 2 hrs with plumcrazyand adam terry

im looking for a pair of dual rod hoders for my cannon digitrols these are the old white body version {late 80's i think} rear mount perfeable terry

i have a vex and love it ive never owned a camra but have fished with freinds that have them and they seem to be a pain in the arse to get ajusted to the area you want to look in becouse of needing moltipal holes just my 2 cents

well i got up around 6 and my youngest doughter happend to get up at the same time and after break feast i asked her what she mite want for dinner ,and the first thing to her 10 yer old mind was FRESH FISH {wow a girl after my own heart} so i thought for about 2 sec. and headed out for my faverate lake called great bear lk. in norther van burren co. to get a mess of gills whilel i was out there rdfishin happened to show up and between the 2 of use we ended up with 48 nice gills we found them in 18 to 20 fow and they where suspended at around 10 to 11 ft the bait of choise seemed to be a size 12 marrimooska jig in yellow with white spikes on the end heres a pic of my 25, most where around 8 inches with a few larger and 2 or 3 a little smaller

i also own a starcraft islander and love it but if i could afford it i think i would have a 27 ft sport craft or sea ray/pursuit with a hard top

my wife swares by ginger tablet when you get ready to leave the house or 45 min. from the time you get on the boat

i have a 07 dodge 1500 quad cab with a 5.7 l hemi equiped with the malti dispacement system and love it ,lots of power and lots of room in the back for the cerw i pull my 221 islander every ware with it ,im not sure what the gas mileage is pulling yet becouse i got it in nov but with the malti dispacement system in it i get about 15 to 16 driveing around town i had a 04 with out the MDS and pulling it got around 10 and around town about 13 TERRY

hey roger i was out yesterday after noon and tonite the ice is better today around 3 to maby 4 inches, this was on a small lake in northern van burren co. about 10 min from you i got 18 last nite and 16 tonite all gills around 8 to 9 inches p.s. by morning if we do not get any more snow it should be safe most every place , its only 12 degrees right now and -1 last nite terry
