Very Nice! Good Job Phil! Gonna try and make it out a few times this week. Looks like you lost your right arm in the second photo.

Everything Dirty Dog said and ill add a couple more that have been working for me lately and last yr. 5 and 7 color cores w/ Silver Streak Mag. Green Dolphin with silver or Glo back, Fuzzy Bear Mag. Glo Green Dolphin, Dreamweaver Lemon Ice, Stinger Blue Bubble, and gander makes a orange and chart. spoon called shockey awe. The orange /black thin fins use to be my favorite but now its Green Dolphin spoons. If you do get some thin fins change the split rings and hooks ive lost a few fish to them straightening out. Good Luck.

Thanks Rich and Dreamweaver and everyone else for making this event happen. We had fish on almost every lure. Our hot set-ups were 5 color Magic Man, 5 color Super Glo Hot Lemon, 7 color Blue Glow Frog, and 10 color Super Glow Purple Easter Egg, Had 2 on the white crush glow SD w/sledgehammer fly i think, dipsey.1 very nice steelhead on Blue Dolphin back 25 down 51 on rigger. Ended up 7-13 in 80-115 fow. Nice job to everyone.

I lost one down a ice fishing hole last winter.

Northern King,Brian,Rich and everyone else involved Thank You.

Cool pictures Rich. Im putting in my order of venison early this year.

Shimano Tekota LC. I wish i had 8 more. Great Drags and line counters. I also have trouble with one of my okuma magda reels with it sticking. Ive lost alot of fish with the magda reels as 5 color lead set ups. Least i think its the reel. I gotta blame it on somthin other than me.

You can use super glue on the braid to stiffen it up so it will work with a double willis knot. For my braid to mono knots i use a "slim beauty knot".

Nice Job again Phil your on a roll. Ive been on his boat and it stays busy so im sure every depth he catches a fish hes not able to kno, he just keeps motorin and catching. As Mike said, just ask. He shared with 150 others right.
My brother in law went 6-11 out of holland today. Dont kno depths or much but know that i told him sw troll, so he went on a nw troll. Starting in 50fow. Got one on white flasher fly by custom fishing products and siggs riggs on rigger, 7 color flounder pounder, and 5 color green dolphin was his hot set-ups. Think he said they went about to port sheldon in 120fow then came back. The downrigger cable that has our speed temp. probe on it just magically snapped about 1-2 feet down i guess- losing our probe/ball/release/ and clip. UGH! Said he tried to get ahold of you phil but he musta been to far north or im betting you were allready back at the dock.

Good job Phil,Adam,Terry and Chris. Cant believe that rack is standing with all those fish on there.

I was telling Roger that with it being so cloudy and foggy it might be a good day for Browns. Would you mind sharing what set-ups,depths you got them on and what lures?

Im so elated that those stinger nitros are working good for you Phil. Thanks alot for having me aboard the plumkrazy again it was a blast. Like i said it was fun while it lasted we only fished for about 3 hours to get this limit. Anytime you need a rider im there and thanks again.

Fished with rdfishin in 130-143 fow.8-11 6 kings 1 steelhead and 1 laker. 5 color w/ green dolphin,7 color w/ Pro king Michael Jackson, 10 color silver streak chilly willy, Dipseys set 2 150 out w/ SD blue bubble w/alewife bugeye fly, Riggers down 50-60 w/pro chip flasher matching white fly, pro chip chrome flasher w/purple sparkler all took fish. Heard of some guys getting them in closer from 50-75. Tried for perch for a little bit around the bubbler but spent more time trying to find them, Roger had a double on of gobys and was toooo tired to reel them in so he let me do it. Heres a picture of the steelhead and the biggest king that we got.

Thanks for the report.

Ah yes. That makes sense. TYVM.

WoW! Nice Terry! I might have to give that a try now.

Is there a way to calibrate it?
Not that i am aware of at this moment, the manual is at my brother in laws house ill check it out but wich would be the right one to try and calibrate the speed/temp. probe or the sonar?
-
Im using 12lb. ball weights with the small fin and i get alot of blowback. Im gonna have to switch to a pancake or something else. Another thing is i use a cannon speed/temp. and it says what depth its at but there is quite a bit of a difference between what that says and what depth im marking it on my sonar screen. .

Great Report and Nice Job! I see im not the only one that had a hot 5 color core.

Ball speeds 2.2-2.7 have worked for me i dont think there is really one set speed that works the best overall, work with 2.0-3.0 and take it on a day to day basis on what the fish want. It doesnt hurt to to be going a certain speed inbetween 2.2-3.0 then slow down a little then speed back up either. With your dipsey rods everyone uses different rods and rod lenghts be it medium, medium heavy, heavy etc. try and watch yours and if it takes a fish try to make it have the same bend as when you caught that last fish for awhile and see if it pans out. I generally try and keep my surface speed around 2.7-3.0 and will slow down for a short bit then speed back up if things arent going and this will trigger strikes sometimes.

I will also rub this stuff onto my hands before i start handling my lures.
No funny remarks or comments on this one please.

I kno this might sound a little crazy but i use a little "mega strike" on my spoons sometimes. Its mainly a bass fishing scent i guess. I had a day where i put it on only one spoon and that spoon was the only one getting hits then put it on a few others and then they took off. Jus a little dab will do yah tho. I will also rub this stuff onto my hands before i start handling my lures.

What color crawler harnesses were you using? Just kidding. Nice Job. Ill trade you some salmon for some of them gills.

Fished from 3-9:30. Set lines in 80 fow straight out had the first fish on at 120 fow on a blue bubble spin doctor w/dreamweaver blue bubble fly set 2 150 back. Second Fish came in 143 fow going north 80 down on rigger 15 feet back on Custom Fishing Products white flasher with siggs rigg matching white fly. This fish got into 2 dipseys and made quite a mess i had to hand line it in. (Mike do you happen to know the name of the flasher and fly you gave me? Picture posted below and thanks.) Had a couple more fish on at 143 fow little north of the stacks but didnt get them into the boat. From there we went east to 130 fow and then south and really started getting into them and worked this area on north /south troll took 2 more fish on the white flasher fly combo down 80 one being about a 10 lb.laker and a king about 12lb. Took one on Michael Jackson Pro king Mag. and Fuzzy Bear green glo dolphin on 7 color core. Lost i dont how many on 5 color with Silver Streak Green Dolphin but it was hot, just having problems with gettin them in with the planer set to not release 2 were for sure steelhead. Lost about 3 on the blue bubble combo w/dipseys set 2 at 150 out. Didnt mark very many fish but they were there with 130 fow being the hot spot a little north had 3 on at one time. Heres one of the kings we got on the White Flasher Fly combo. I didnt use this in the tournament last sunday because im an idiot *kicking self*.
