With one being a small shaker. Couple of 15-14lbers rest in the 10-8lb. range.Really fuzzy on what all 'went' on 'what' today as I was forced to change up quite a bit.:D 10 colors with greendolphin glo back, and a pro king spoon I do not know the name of but looks like uv tape, 12 color with green glo j-plug 'silver horde', Dipseys set 2 out 170 and 150 with blue bubble combos, and riggers from 45 to 60 down with mag. blue monkey puke, brooke trout, greendolphin glo back, moonshine hi-nrg a plethora of other spoons and chrome pro troll w/ firecracker fly 15' back went.We also released one fish that was not caught legit. 2. Nice job Jim.

If all goes well and I get my work finished Team nailer will try it out of Holland Friday (I don't feel like fighting the Grand Haven Festival crowd that launches at Port Sheldon).

We did ok Thursday evening at Holland in 112 fow south out from the sliders on a south troll. Riggers with spoons 60-70 loc down while it was still light out then 40 and 50 down loc. as it got darker back 32 feet were going pretty good. Good Luck Team Nailer.

  3. Went out with Huntingfool and Crosscobra Thursday. We started around 1pm and the plan was to go perchin then try later for the silver fish. We stopped perch fishing around 5:30 with around 30 nice perch. At 6pm we were in 100fow and set up on a s/sw troll. Found fish at 112 and pretty much worked that area on south and north troll with south being the better of the two. 10 color with green dolphin glo back went, 12 color with Moonshine Double Trouble, Green Glo squid Glo spin doctor on Dipsey out 170, and riggers with mag. Blue Monkey Puke and Moonshine Brooke Trout down 40,50,60 and 70 all went. Biggest was around 14 pounds and we ended up 7 for 11 and quit at about 10pm. Thanks Steve and Jay for joining me. Long GREAT day on the lake!

  4. Went out of Holland again last evening with rdfishin and crosscobra. Fished from 5 till around 10:30pm again going 9 for around 14 with one being a 25 inch laker. Had our chance at the end to get our limit with a double on but losing one after a good battle. Had the riggers go three times after that and lost all those three to. 5 color cores with mag. green dolphins went, 10 color with flounder pounder went, 12 color double trouble went, riggers with flounder pounder went 60 down, rigger with brooke trout went 50 down, and dipseys set 2 out 110 with blue bubble combo and green glow squid with glow spin doctor. Southwest troll 70 to 115 fow. Nother great day/night on the water with the biggest going 17 and half pounds and no small fish caught. Thanks for coming along Jay and Roger.

  6. Moonshines were Double Trouble, Bad Toad and the ever famous Flounder Pounder. Crazy thing about this trip... we had i'd say close to 20 pound king jumping 6 feet in the air at least 4 times right behind the boat 'not hooked' to anything...kinda saying "Here I am try and get me","Toodaloo dum dum's!".:D Was really something. Thanks for the trip Terry.:)

  7. Late Report but I have been very busy fishing the last 4 days :). Went 7-9 on Saturday morning and managed the biggest king of the year so far for me landed by 'Big Jay' the bass man, 17 and some change on my digital.Bout all I remember is we fished 100-160 fow. The big one coming on a moonshine double trouble on a 12 color core immediatly after getting it back out after it took another fish. Took a few on blue bubble flasher fly combos on dipseys set 2 and half out 150 and east troll worked best.

My dad was askin if Frank (Priority One) was gonna be there and I told him yes, so now he wants to come up and visit around weigh in time. Im sure he will pitch in a little more for raffle tickets, if that is acceptable even tho he will not be fishing in the tourney. Lemme kno.
