I woulda stopped to shoot the bull with you but... I was in a bit of a hurry to get home and see how my crew was doing getting my boat ready....

and just as I thought they were all just standing around waiting for me to tell them to do something.

Im pretty sure I will have the whole month off. . Lemme kno if/when any of yous guys are planning a port sheldon or holland trip and ill join yah out there in my boat, or if any of you need a extra rider im there.

I coulda really used you as my professional salmon fisherman to put the smack down on plumkrazy. Instead I ended up with a novice bass fisherman and sleeping beauty.

Are we spose to buy the spoon before we go out? I see you have the weigh- in time at 9:30 pm. Just wondering if Gold Coast is open that late for us to all go in and buy the spoon at the same time as we did last time. Also weigh in starting at 9:30 gets me home around 11pm im gonna assume then be up at 3am to fish the next day.

I got the idea from the cazman he had it in a post here about a year or so ago and it is really great. Andy, have you seen or thought about getting a "special mate" brand spoon box? these are also another great thing i learned from caz.

Im going after you in the next one Phil. All i can say about yesterday is you know your going to have a bad day fishing when you get a backlash on the toilet paper roll in the morning, thats the kinda day i had. I did catch a fish just not during tournament scheduled time. Daddy didnt raise no quitter. Nice fish and nice job on all that placed.

I guess i wont be fishing this weekend. I just found out my brother in law took the boat up north somewhere and wont be back till sunday.

Im gonna be out sat. morning at port sheldon again, if your goin there give me a shout. I'll be out with my boy and possibly my brother in law and one or both of his boys.

Wish i could say that i have.I been hoping for the day i could make a report saying i got one on a CAZNIK fly. I have ran them a few times but nothing. I even made a very close replica of the purple firecracker fly that i been doin pretty good with but they wont take it. Though because i have alot of faith in some other flies its hard for me to put them in the water over them. Someday tho its gonna happen.

Went out with my boy and my dad going 4-8 from 7am -3pm with them reeling in and losing all but the biggest fish, that Big Daddy took care of to show em how to do it. 15lb. er on blue bubble spin doc. w/ bugeye alewife on dipsey set 1-1/2 out 130. Other fish came on or was lost on yellow flounder on 5 color core,buffalo bill 5 color core, and pro king i dont the name of light blue/ purple depending on the angle you look at it with green tape on the rigger 15' back down 56-61. Blue and green dolphins went dead today for us.Fished 60 fow-140 fow straight out and south with 84-85 having the most marks. Great day for fishing and sunburn.

Nice job on that big fish. Wish i coulda got you on the radio, now you owe me about 30 phone minutes for that help. Come out fishin with me sometime soon and we'll call it good.

Went out this morning with my buddy mike went 9-9 with 3 shakers released. Fished from 6-11:30am. Most fish we got were in 90 fow south from stacks on south troll picked up a couple out at 150 fow going north. Blue bubblers,blue dolphin,chrome pro troll w/purple firecracker fly, and blue bubble spin doc. w/ blue bubble dreamweaver fly and bugeye fly alewife took fish. Got the biggest of the day 13 lb. in 60 fow heading in pulling lines on the bugeye alewife combo (this took both the bigger fish). From 90 fow in to 60 fow on the way in we marked lots an lots of fish.

This Phil guy and his son could catch salmon out of a mud puddle. Nice Job guys! Went out with my dad at 4pm till about 10pm going 6-7. Fished 60-170 fow 90-110 was best for us lots of bait in that area. We only kept 2 nice ones, one going around 17-18 lbs. that came on a smaller blue bubble stinger as a stacker 5 ft. up from rigger down 50. The other one we kept was around 8 lb. on a small green dolphin glow back fuzzy bear on 5 color core. This took 2 other smaller fish as well. Blue dolphin glow back fuzzy bear mag. took one on rigger down 61.And one on a pro king mag. spoon im not sure the name of, kinda light blue/ purply lookin down 50 on rigger. We lost one dandy on dipsey blue bubble spin doctor w/ bugeye alewife fly set at 1-1/2 out 130. Nothing went on west troll all going east or north and south speed 2.7. Going out again tomorrow morn. at 6am port sheldon, to much fun cant sleep.

Are we still playing poker at this one? Also ive never stayed at that campsite but since were gonna be fishing there 2 days we might as well stay in muskegon, wondering how much it is and if they have cabins or anything like that or just tent sites. Ill take any information on Hotels close by as well.

Id like to play in this one to. Crew is sketchy but ill figure it out.
