  1. Just spoke with Chip of Silver Streak - This date will be the Silver Steak event and he was very sorry about not getting stuff out for the last event. Looking forward to a big turn out.

  5. I don't know of any show rooms in the Holland area, you might see a few boats for sale out at one of the marinas on your way to the state park.

  9. After spending the weekend with the wife on the boat, we both got the big boat itch again. so lets see if we can get any interest. PM me here on GLF to setup a time to see the boat. It is at Yacht Basin in Holland. Setup for Big Lake fishing. Custom hard top with Rocket launcher. Garmin 441 GPS / Fishfinder. a second Garmin Fishfinder. 840 Fish Hawk with two probes - one is for parts. Ship - Shore radio 2 Cannon Digitrol II Electric Down riggers. w/ swivel bases. Rebuilt motor two years ago. 5.7L (350) Chevy Mercuriser Outdrive replaced less than 10 years ago. SS Prop, Spare Alum. 8 years ago - Gel coat was hand sanded and redone with Imron Paint. (auto finish) just rinse and go, wax once a year. Bottom paint will need to be redone this season. Shift cable and bellow replaced 1 1/2 years ago. I have had this boat for 17+ years Trailer had 4 new tires 2 years ago. Will sleep 2 guys, 2 couples Enclosed head w/ shower and Porta potty - dump or pump Fridge, Stove, Sink, & Microwave. We are looking to move to a bigger boat. Boat is in the water in Holland. Can be shown any week night after 6pm. Boat runs great, Will top out at 34 MPH. Cruises very nice at 25 MPH. Have had boat out in up to 7 foot seas without an issue while trolling. it is a great weekend fishing machine. $10,000 with above items. $12,000 if I leave the Raymarine auto pilot on the boat. $8,000 just boat and trailer
  10. Had a great day on the water with my wife Angie and Jasper. late start 10 am setup in 160 - worked out to 205. fishing the scum line. 150, 250, & 300 Cooper worked. Silver Streak mag spoons, skittles, UV blue /chrome splatter back. worked best. Went 5 for 5 13-18#

  14. Yep. Water is just cold yet. We tried deeper water Saturday after we boated 10 fish. Not a bump.

  17. yep, for short lines all I have is 2- 50' Bloodrun copper, 2- 3 color & a 7 color. we just sent the 7color down the chute and let it drag bottom, it had about 30' of leader on it. spoon was back there clippin' the speed bumps.
  18. WMFL & Shakedown all in one Day. Left the dock little after six. Decided to not follow the pack and I headed north. set down in 20 fow in front of Tunnel park, worked back between 13' to 18' to just past Port Sheldon pier head. Went 10 for 10 Mini spoons on every thing but the diver to start. ran 2 riggers, orange crush on both one shaker king while checking lures. mono dispy perch looking body bait. Took a laker 3 color out side board with Silver Streak Pink Panty Hoe - 2 browns and a small king 7 color down the chute Silver Streak sliver UV blue green looking splatter - don't recall the name. took 1 brown , 2 lakers 50' Blood Run Cooper w/ Sliver Streak orange chilly willy 1 laker, another shaker king. Pulled lines at 10:30 and headed in with a green crew member. had a good time, boat ran great, (one small leak in the dash) thanks to the crew. Thanks to all that showed up and fished the event. I'm looking forward to the next event and hopefully warmer weather. and thanks to Blood Run Tackle for the continued sponsorship of the West Michigan Fishing League.
  19. Kevin, 46 out of the 52 fish at the weight in were browns.

  21. I hope to get the result posted later tonight. the weather held out for us and we had a total of 14 boat at the weight in. That was the most amount of Brown trout I have every see.   22. Wow, let hope for good weather, I have been either fishing or holding the WMFL events for the past 5 years, 21 boats in is the most I recall ever seeing on the signup list. let's keep this number all summer long.
