I am with maniac sounds like a guilty plea to me I heard they already are losing sponsers anyway.
big talk from a little guy. who are your sponsors? this is what is wrong with all the forums. jelousy plan and simple. thats why this is my last post on this site. nothing to do with mike he's a good guy and there are a few and i stress few other good guys they know who they are without me saying thier names. i have talked to mike on the phone and in person and even fished with him on his boat. we lost fish. on the boat i fish out of we have lost fish at the back of the boat. just because bill and dave are charter captians and pro staff members every one thinks the are cheaters and are guilty of cheating. i am friends with 5 or 6 differnt charter captians who are also pro staffers some out of south haven some out of st joe and have fished with them also and guess what WE LOST FISH AT THE NET so are they cheaters also? no it happens and they cont. to fish. and like mike said unless someone who was on the boat speaks up everything is assumstion and after speaking to bill and dave yesterday i know thier side of the story. sucks that this has come down to this but when guys bash other fishermen out of jelousy it takes the fun out of the sport. i will still answer people out on the lake and give them god's honest 100% truth on what we are seeing for fish in what water temp depth and so forth because we are all out for 1 thing and thats to have a good time doing what we enjoy

this is a crock myself i dont really care that much for team best chance too. but to have a cry baby saying they were not fast enough to net fish come on. grow up and dont b@@@h and whine when someone else is out fishing you in a tourney.

Gord' date=' glad you got the pic. I had one last year just like that. The fish was about 5-6 pounds and had all those wormy markings on the back. According to the Mich. DNR fishing handbook, that would be defined as a Splake. However I keep getting told that there are no Splake in Lake Mich. Maybe you can get some feedback from some charter Captains.[/quote']
i have caught 2 splake in lake mi out of st joe. i was told is was a splake by dnr at the launch

i have had good luck running a core down the chute give it a whirl whats the worst that can happen?

Good job Scott.
So, you are still using thinfins? I am new to this and it surprised me to read that.
katrina you gotta think outside the box last week i put a j-plug out and got a 14/15lb king on it. plus i have taken fish with a spoon behind a flasher just a i wonder what will happen if i do this type thing and it worked many times over.

We fished 4pm to 9pm focusing on 80ft to 100ft of water. It was busy fighting fish and weather. Let's hope fishing stays good.
10 color w/organ Monkey Puke 95ft water 14lb king
5 color w/green Monkey Puke 106ft water 6lb king
Diver 150ft back on 3 Rosemary Baby 82ft water 8 Coho
Rigger top stack with 36 ft down 85 ft water Coyote 10lb Laker
3 Misses on diver with Rosemary Baby lost one at the back of the boat. The spoon is a Stinger all the paint is wore off after two trips:confused:
The other miss was on a Tiger Thinfin on a two color, we assume it was a big steal head we could not stop it and spit the hock after about 5 min. This is the 3rd miss on Thinfins with large fish. I will be changing the Thinfins to larger hooks. Let’s hope they keep working.
on your thinfins remove the front hook and you'll have alot better hook-up rate since the fish cant use the front hook as leverage to get off

i dont own any myself as of yet but i am gonna be using the big jon's aluim. rod holders because the ones i have used on mike's (glf) are the same we use right now on mark's boat are the same and strong as an ox from what i seen and in 2 years we havent had a single issue with them yet

on all 12 volt asserories you want the shortest possable ground the shorter the ground the better. and with coax cables you dont want to cut them or wrap them up loop them away from any power leads or else you risk interferance.
this is just common knowalage in auto/semi wiring. not saying you or anyone else is wrong i am speaking form many years exeriance as a ase master machanic i also have wired many radios and cbs and learned from major screw ups.
