  1. I have two DigiTroll IV's, and a Mag 10 on my rig. I'm partial to Cannon's, but the other big brands are good to. I actually line my Mag 10 better than the DigiTrolls. Very simple to operate w/no programming.
  2. Welcome to the site. I like yor screen name. You a "squatch" fan?
  3. I know it's some sort of acidic liquid they use to disolve their food (i.e. your skin), but they feel like they have teeth like piranhas.
  4. I've tried the Thermocell, but the problem I had was breeze. The wind would blow the "smoke" away, and make them useless.
  5. Anybody know of a good repellant for keeping those damn black biting flys away? :mad:The little suckers have a "bite" that hurts like hell, and they really seem to swarm you when you're fighting a fish. I was told Skin So Soft with Picardin from Avon, but have yet to try it. Anyone have something better?
  6. If you still want the Big Body lock you can call me on my cell phone at 616-550-5292 to swap mailing, and payment information. John S.

  7. Yes, I have the big body locks on two of my "old style" Cannons, and I recently added a third, but it's the new style. So I only bought the one lock.
  8. I typically do put my contact information on them, but just my luck with a new set of boards, I didn't do it before I used them. Hopefully someone on here found it, and will contact me. Those boards aren't cheap.
  9. If anybody found a Z-board (Big Daddy) around the Saugatuck area in 200-250' of water I'd like to talk to you. I lost one this weekend along with 350' of copper. Expensive loss so I'd really like it back if you found the board. Thank-you! Please PM me if you found it.
  10. I think your boat is located on the same dock as mine at Yacht Basin. What is your dock number?
  11. I can save you some cash on at least one tree. I have one that I replaced with a swivel base that I'll sell at a fair price. PM me if you're interested. John:thumb:
  12. Better load him up on Dramamine if he's never been on a boat before, or it could get messy.
  13. :no:Some people are just plain lazy, and to some it's easier to throw stuff overboard rather than carry it to a trash can. I see quite a few mylar baloons floating in the water too. It's a shame some people don't take care of our precious resources.

  15. He would if the virgin was a camel.
  16. I believe he did deserve a proper burial. Dumping his bullet-ridden carcass down the sh**ter seems proper doesn't it?
  17. I have a port side Berts rod tree for sale. 1 year old. Replaced with a swivel base version to make it easier to get in my slip. Also, I have a Frabil large hoop net (I believe it's 6' one-piece shaft) perfect for smaller boats, and two Berts ball holders. If you're interested shoot me a PM with a reasonable offer. Just want to get rid of some stuff. Prefer not to ship the rod tree. Cash only. You pick up, or we could meet in Holland, Zeeland, area.
  18. QUOTE=pmjasper;87153]I think I have about 21 reels strickly for trout and salmon trolling. It's all well and good until the wife starts counting them, knows how much they cost and knows you didn't have any before last June when we got the boat.
  19. Here's the rest of my arsenal. I thought we were just talkin wire, and copper. All are Shimano Takota reels(600's, 700's, and 800's) on 8' & 9' stainless eyelet conventional, or 9', and 10' roller rods. I'd sure hate to find out the price per pound of salmon after all the $$$$ we spend on tackle, gear, boats, etc. 45# copper 1 - 200' 1 - 250' 1- 300' 1- 350' 1- 400' 1- 450' Leadcore 1 - 5 color 1 - 7 color 4 - 10 color 2- SWR's diver rods 4 - wire roller rods w/Blood Run wire 4 - braid riggers 4 - 20#
