  1. Nice job guys!! I hope there will be some for next yr....LOL!!!!! Scott
  2. Well we headed out to our same numbers from last Sunday and set up with the same program pulling cranks!! Water had cooled some but not too bad and we were marking fish!! Started hitting fish right away but not many walleye!! I was wearing my crew out first thing on cats and sheepies....LOL!! Kept going south hitting a few eyes along the way but not like last weekend!! Finally we turned north and just kept going trying to find a better bunch of fish!! Got about a mile north of my waypoints and turned back down wind and all hell broke lose!! None stop action for about a mile run then we started hitting junk fish again!! Only needing a couple more fish for our limit we picked up and ran back to our north numbers and with in a few minutes of resetting up we had our 4 persons limit!!..I had 2 ladies on board!!...LOL!! We also tossed back several small eyes and I lost count of junk fish!! My crew today was my wife and 2 of our freinds that had never fished like this before and they did AWESOME!! After showing them how to set lines and net fish they did most everything on thier own and did it great, even when it got rough they didnt want to come in until we got our limit!! What the heck happened to that east wind 5-10??!! HOLY NORTH/EASTER!! As for lures it was the same deal, deep little rippers and hot n tots!! Colors were confusion, eriedescent, fire perch, captains choice and blue pirate!! Heres a pic of our freinds with a couple of good eaters! 4 person limit! All in all it was a great day with great friends that are now hooked on walleye fishing!!....LOL!! Oh and man does that new boat ever handle great in the rough water!! WOW!! Scott

  7. I was out a couple weekends ago until around 5:30-6:00 and had good action right up untill we left!! I would guess YES On the evening bite!! Good luck!! Scott
  8. NIce job Adam!!! It got a little bumpy, didnt it... We ended up hitting some fish inside after I talked to ya but nothing worth anything!! Then on the way in I was about 3/4 of a mile from the end of the buoys into LBM and hit a damn log in 10 fow and took one of my blades right off my prop!! Oh well luckely the wind was at our back and I just chugged in slow enough so we didnt vibrate too bad!! We had a good day out there too, you would hit those pods like Adam said then nothing!! You just had to be in the right area!! We never turned on a spot we just kept covering water!! We did get one right at 6lbs which was nice to see and of course I foregot my camera!! Pink/chart and purple/chart was really good for us today!! Nice talking to ya out there Adam!! My darn cell phone has alot of dead zones out there...LOL!! Scott
  9. Nice work Jason!! Seems to be alot more fish closer to Au Gres this yr then last yr!! Scott
  10. Back to the bay, i'm going to be doing some pre-fishing for the Linwood Classic!! Gotta find some big fish!! My nephew whacked the fish in Manistee yesterday!! Where are you headed Jay?? Scott
  11. Way to go Jay!!!! You dont need those stinking riggers and dipseys!!...LOL!!! Scott
  12. Well the wife and i headed up Friday morning and got to Au Gres around 11:00am. Headed out off of Point Augres in 32 fow and hit a couple right away!! Messed around in that area for a bit and picked up a couple more! Went back in to 30 fow and caught a couple of shorties and a nice white fish!! MMMMMMMM!!! Picked up and ran out to 38 fow and it was really good picked up 7 more keeprs pretty quick throwing a couple of smaller ones back keeping our 2 man limit with a bonus whittie!! 3oz bottom bouncers and spinners color didnt really matter!! Willow blades were better for me then colorados!! Saturday I took my father-in-law and brother-in-law out in the morning and we were greeted with a nice fresh N wind!! Ran back out to where my wife and I ended up on Friday, same set up 3 oz bottom bouncers with spinners and 2oz in-lines with spinners out on the boards!! Ended up with our 3 man limit in just a couple of hours and tossing back a couple of up grades!! Best colors of blades were silverstreak rainbow huckleberry. lobster and lemonberry all in willows! Came in and ate some lunch then I took my wife, sister-in-law and freind out for an afternoon trip! Darn wind had switched out of the east and it got coudy and cool. Went back out to the deeper water and set up, hit one right away and then nothing!! Switched a few colors around and started to hit a few!! Picked up and ran out to 39 fow and came down wind and it was loaded with fish!! Ended the afternoon just a couple short of there 3 man limit but they were cold and I wanted to get in and clean fish and have a few cocktails before the Red Wings came on...LOL!! All in all it was a great couple of days on the water!! Sunday was too cold and rough so we slept in..lOL!! Fridays catch! Scott
  13. Nice job Frank!! I seen you a few times out there! Thats my truck in the pic!!...LOL!! Scott
  14. Nice job Jason!! It was alot of fun out there!! Scott
  15. Nice job Frank!! I'll be up there mid day on Friday!! Havent fished Au Gres in over a month!! Gonna be good to get back to the old stomping grounds!! Scott
  16. Nice job Jason!! You aint kidding, that wind was hummin around noon or so and then when that storm hit she really picked up!! Scott
  17. I always have a couple of bottom bouncers right over the side of the boat!! Alot of days it will take the biggest fish!! I ususally just let it hit then put a little more line out and stick it in the rod holder!! Friday when we fished they were working good for the first hour then they went dead but you could see on the graph the fish had moved up!! The 1oz in-lines were popping good!! Scott
  18. Good luck Tom!! Sounds like they are getting fish out in 28 to 30 fow!! I maybe out somewhere tomorrow!! If i'm up that way i'll give you a shout!! Scott
  19. Good to hear you got the Priority1 out!! Wont be long and it will be limit catches!! Scott
  20. I would go out of Linwwod Beach Marina in Linwood!! You can get to good fishing water pretty quick!! As for running boards from the boat, they dont really need to be that far!! I like to run a couple bottom bouncer rigs right behind the boat with no board!! They always take fish!! If we get enough wind I like to drift with light spinning tackle, i'm sure you could cast and retrieve as well!! Not sure about the counter clock wise travel of the fish, there are generally fish all over the bay!! Last yr we had great fishing on the inner bay all the way into late July!! Check the reports for your trip in June as you may want to go out of Au Gres but if is like it was last yr, Linwwod was good then!! Good luck!! Scott
