We ran 1 dipsey all day and it never took a hit. Changed it out several times with different flashers/flys and clean spoons. One of our lost fish cam on the Hog Wild. It came back missing the hook and split ring.:eek:Our last and biggest (16.69#) fish made up for that. We came up just short of a 100 lb. box with a total of 99 lbs & 6 oz.

Fished with Jarod (j1musser) yesterday. We boxed out after going 11-17. We kept 1 Laker and 9 Kings, releasing 1 small king. All of the boated fish came on the fallowing set ups...
6 color, SS Miami Dolphin spoon.
8 color, MS Bloody Nose
200 copper, PK green/orange
fixed slider, 40 down, Stinger Hog Wild
Someone needs a bigger cooler.

Great job of putting a smile on that young mans face.

Good luck guys. With this warmer weather, the fish might be out a little deeper.

You could try the Schultz Park launch. It nicer than the others, but a farther run to the lake.

Great job on the nice box of Kings. Thanks for the detailed report.

Thank you Capt Ron. How far out do you have to go in South Haven to reach 100 ft? Do you have nets down there? I usually fish out of Muskegon, but would like to explore some other ports.
There are no nets in South Haven. It's about a 4 mile run to 100 FOW.

I "think" the bridge opens every half hour on the hour. But dont hold me to it.
You are correect Mike. Not sure on what time it first opens, but the last one is @ 11PM. The clearance is about 10-11 feet, depending on the water level.
Just don't put any rods in any holders till you get past it and you will be fine.

how do you get to the boat launch in south haven Is it a state or city launch.
It's a city launch. The easiest way is... right off exit 20 (Phoenix), right at the second light(Broadway), right on Dunkley (before the draw bridge), go strait at the stop sign. The launch is on the left.

Great job today Mike! It was nice to "officially" meet some of the GLF members.

After the work out we had today, I missed the sunset. I had to get my nap in.

Thanks for the invite Terry. Had a great time out there, even with it being a little bumpy. The slam was just an added bonus.

No surprises in South Haven. It a fairly short ride out too. The direction for the troll varies day to day. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any more questions.

I just reeled them in. Jarods the one that drove us over them.
