    We were out this morning as well and put 1 in the box. Freeslider on the downrigger down 70 in 85 fow. Marked some other fish but no takers. Used copper, leadcore, meat rigs, flasher / flies, and spoons. You're right it was a beautiful morning and the fishing was definitely slow.

    Congrats on having a successful morning on a tough bite! We were one of the many boats out there this morning (and afternoon) but we didn't have any luck. Tried as shallow as 70 fow up to 250. Marked fish but couldn't get any to bite.

    Nice! I'm going to try and head out of Holland sometime this weekend. Last weekend we found 3 kings up near Port sheldon in 150 - 160ft of water. 300 and 150 copper were the ticket.
