bucknut Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Went fishing yesterday at Saugatuck. Fished 4 hrs., then got blew off. 2-4 footers in a 14 ft. boat is not fun. Had 1 hit, got the skunk out of the box. A nice 5 lb. brown. There were only 5 other boats and 5 guys on the south pier. We never saw another fish caught. The temp. in the lake was 41-42 deg. Marked some fish, but not much happening. Maybe this weekend things will change. The fish came on a #11-orange rapala. Again, it's nice to have a jerk on the other end of the line.
