What is on the bow of the boat, trek decking?  If so, how is it attached?

 

Also, have you replaced the bearings on the trailer recently?  I am in South Carolina and it will be a ling haul to bring her home.

That is composite decking attached with Marine grade adhesive.

The bearings on the trailer were replaced 2 seasons ago. They have less than 150 miles on them. They also have bearing buddies.
