Ice conditions.

Thinking about getting the little boat out. Would head out of South Haven or St. Joe. Any word on the ice conditions?

Web cams at St Joe and Michigan City don't look bad, some bergs off Holland.   I tried to look at themodis satellite image of the whole lake but it had cloudy pics.  Be cautious, you might not see ice at the pier heads but it could be out there and wind can move it, possibly blocking your return to the launch.
