CJ428 16
My boat is 32 years old w a steel tank. I drain it down to 1/2 a gallon each year, add 4 oz of oil and a small amount of stabilizer. I looked inside this year and no rust. I know some recommend having it full- what do you do?
Far Beyond Driven 10
Full, because I'vé always done it. Never had a fuel related issue.
CITM 0
A full tank reduces the amount of exposed surface area for condensation to form inside the tank.If it's in heated storage, it won't condensate so it doesn't matter either way.
