jimcr Posted July 1, 2012 Share Posted July 1, 2012 All I can say is (*&&&* *&%$%^) WOW. the lake is on fire right now! Set lines in 70 fow heading north about the towers , from 430 - 530 it was just a blur . was able to get only 3 rods set until 530 , they just kept firing , in the first 1/2 hour we lost 4 and boxed 3 . Wire divers did most of the damage , just as the day before.Flasher flies on 4 and 2 spoons on the high boards. We had 2 big kings get off right at the back of the boat. As the sun climbed higher the fishing slowed for us and we headed off north and moving out to 105-130. Didn't take long to finish filling out limit.Pulled lines by 840am . Ended the day 10 for 17 . 2 lakers and 8 kings. Put the top up and sat back for the 30min ride back . Another perfect day to be on the water!
