Fish for a Wish Tournement

Times: 6:30-noon

Where: Muskegon. Weigh-in at Fishermans Landing

A friend of mine is running a tourney out of Muskegon for the Benefit of Make-A-Wish. He's the former president of the local UAW at Autodie in GR. Anyway great guy and great cause.

No website for info but basically it's $100 to enter. No money prizes just trophy's. All money raised goes directly to Make-A-Wish. They usually have a kid and the family that goes on a charter and comes for the weigh in. Last year was the first one. We had about 17 boats and I can tell you it was a great experience. First of all fisherman and ladies are already the best kind of people but get them all togehter for a good cause and the attitude was just awesome. There's usually a gathering the night before and a big cookout after the weigh in.

I'll be there as Team Dirty Laundry with Sixshooter and Mrs. Sixshooter on my crew.

Bev and I are very excited to fish this event. I expect this will be a lot of fun...Plus get to fish with one of my old school buddies.

Heck I do believe you are the first person I fished with out of Port Sheldon.
