Fishing Report Posted July 20, 2006 Share Posted July 20, 2006 Boats targeting steelhead are fishing in waters 60 to 85 feet deep while the lake trout can be found way out in waters over 80 feet deep. Some are trolling just south of the port towards Michigan City, while others are heading straight out from the Rock Pile, which is just south of the Galien River.
