We managed to get two days on the water over the holiday weekend. We launched out of Barcelona Harbor and ran to the PA line.. trolling our way back. Although we didn't hit any real "Hogs", we did manage to boat 22 walleye. Most of them were in the 7 to 9 pound range. The larger fish seemed to be coming from over deep water (90-100 ft.), but 35-40 feet down was the magic number.. regardless of depth. Our best producers were Renowski's and Bomber Long A's behind 5 and 6 colors of leadcore off the boards. I don't know why, but dipsies and downriggers did poorly even at the same depths! I think we only took one fish on a worm harness. Hope to be out there again in a few weeks. This is almost like the "old" days! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)
