Toploader427 Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Hi Everyone...I am having a problem with line tangle on the ends of my rods when setting lines and have seen on some rods on other boats, a small, tube type, turned down extension that looks like it would prevent the problem. DKuiper Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Sounds like possibly you may have some line twist from running SDs or flashers? I have had that problem and mostly solved it by running really good swivels and a short length of bead chain ahead of the flashers, like those on J Plugs.
