Cast-a-Way Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Hi Guy's and Gal's I am kinda new to salmon (only 3rd year) fishing and kinda wasted last year rebuilding my boat I was wondering if you had any advice for me as far as how early I can start targeting salmon out of henderson ny ???are the temp ranges the same in the spring for salmon or are they more unpredictable ??Thank you in advance I am just trying to have the boat ready and rigged up to get out there !! Yankee Troller Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 That's a tough area to target Salmon in. Last year you didn't miss much! Usually some will show up in July. Your August and September are really the months you want to target Salmon though.
