JoeMan Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Went out again last night, 1 for 3. The lake was flat as glass. We went back to the bank and started in 120fow. After about 20 min. we hit a king on the full core, DW Junk Box Glow. It was looking to be a good night. A while later the slider lure on the downrigger took a hit, nice fish, good weight. We just started fighting that fish and the full core went again. Double On!! Both fish came unbuttoned before they got close to the boat. Shortly after we got the lines set another boat came over the radio with a distress call. They were dead in the water. They were less than a mile away so we started the troll toward them. We pulled lines when we got to the stranded boat and gave them a tow in. We missed the prime time fishing right before dusk, but we were able to get everone back to the dock safe.
