Losin Lures Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Fishing was great as we got our limit of kings by 7:45. 90-100 foot of water on a south troll. Best lures were a green dolphin glow big weenie fly on wire back 200 and green w/ black ladder black plug down 50 ft. Make sure to get out early as the bite had definitely slowed by 7. When you look out the window and the waves are even with the hardtop, there will be no fishing. We hit some legitimate 7 footers. My out of town guest were used to it, as they fish in Chesapeake Bay, but even they realized there would be no fishing.
